Congrats to the DR Vokalensemblet & their new conductor, Martina Batic on her OUR Recordings debut featuring revelatory premieres of music by Slovenian composer Uroš Krek and a major work by Else Marie Pade, one of the original electronic music pioneers!

Pade’s extraordinary “Maria" (1980) scored for coloratura soprano, bass baritone, speaking choir and 7 trombones, and electronic sounds steal the show, written as spiritual self-solace to comfort her from her trauma as a prisoner of war under the N***s. tiny.cc/dgs7001W
