At the Slush startup event in Helsinki. the 2016 Formula 1 World Champion, Nico Rosberg, revealed why he abandoned a lucrative contract and turned into an investor.

Failup Ventures has its HQ in NYC and constructs a sturdy venture bridge between the Nordics and U.S.

The team has already made three investment injections into early-stage startups from its fund. The fund’s target size has been set to €50 million.

OK folks. The Slush Week is on. Now officially, after Jani's Bday party:). And this year there is so much to experience in HELsinki again.

Started as 1 day event in a blizzard in 2008, continued to legendary Cable Factory in 2009 (as a 2 day event, read the end of this story:) Slush is inevitably one of the greatest events, annually in Helsinki, Finland when it's cold and dark outside....

Last week we visited the 2023 Nordeep Summit, the 2nd edition of this great Summit focused on the Nordic Deep Tech. The main thing was to cover the Opening Panel "What Makes Nordics a Deep Tech Powerhouse? by Alliance VC's Stine Sorensen, Maki.vc's Ilkka Kivimäki and Onego Bio's Maija Itkonen.

The event was a good glaze at the Nodric Deep Teck scene, and our Peter Gréen covered the panel in his story on how the Nordic Deep Tech will save the world, as it was stated by Jan Ameri already at the very first Nordeep Summit.
