Ahead of the re-release of their 2008 hidden gem “Animal Instinct”, the TYGERS OF PAN TANG are putting out the digital single “Rock Candy”.
Not only one of the most energetic tracks of the whole album, “Rock Candy” is a superb example of the firepower that the new vocalist Jack Meille brought to the band back then.
Completely remixed and remastered (as the full album is too), “Rock Candy” era 2024 is a prime example of heavy metal and hard rock getting together for a kick-ass good time.

Black Oak County - new video "Crossed The Line" out now
The new Black Oak County digital single and lyric video, "Crossed The Line", is out now!
The Danish hard rock band is closing in on the release date of their third studio album "III" (comes out on October 25th!), with yet another entry from the coming record.
“"Crossed The Line" is a song about addiction, the struggles we phase on our own - even though we shouldn’t have to. It’s about throwing your life away because of substances, going back to a toxic relationship, or whatever you might be struggling with on a personal level.”
Musically, "Crossed The Line" is also a song about firsts for the Danish rockers, thanks to the song being co-written and produced by Nicklas Sonne (Defecto, Aries Descendant, Danish Eurovision preliminaries).
“We’re used to playing fast and heavy riffs, but this one is really a particular thundering one! It’s definitely one of the more metal-inspired songs on the album, with a constant chugging riff, and an almost metalcore-esque groove for the chorus - it really helps sell the story of desperation, frustration and disappointment, which is very prominent in the lyrics. Another first was we open the song right on Niels’ singing, which really catches you on the spot and draws you into the song immediately.”

"“Boom Boom Baby" is kind of a silly party song based on an experience a friend of ours had in our teenage years. It’s a comedic and cheeky song with plenty of balls (literally!), a bad-ass riff, one of the catchiest choruses of the album. We had such a fun time writing and recording this tune with Nicklas, and felt this was the perfect song for him to join in on!” says the band, currently gearing up for another run of shows in Denmark and Germany later this summer.
