From Bamenda to Morocco 🇨🇲✈️🇲🇦 Joshua Kosimbom to cover the AFCON
While a wide panoply of content creators focus on the UEFA Champions League and other international competitions in pursuit of engagement and monetization, one young, dynamic football reporter Joshua Kosimbom of Kosi_foottalk made a deliberate choice to shine the spotlight on Cameroon’s local football.
With 100 % focus on local football, he has amassed over 100,000 followers on Facebook
Joshua is one of the most passionate, talented, hardworking, and focused reporters in Cameroon. His commitment to grassroots football development in his community is undeniable. With limited resources and no sponsorship, he consistently covers local competitions in Bamenda, bringing visibility to raw and often overlooked talents.
Rain or scorching sun, Joshua is always present; covering PWD Bamenda matches, documenting local leagues, and telling the stories that matter. He makes personal sacrifices, traveling to Yaoundé and Douala whenever the Indomitable Lions are in action, all in the name of football journalism.
His relentless exposure and public relations work for Che Malone stands as a clear proof of his impact. Joshua pushed the defender tirelessly, and today, that effort has paid off.
Now, we proudly see him on the big stage in Morocco, covering the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2026)
His journey is driven by grit, determination, and sheer hard work.
If there were one influencer from Cameroon’s English-speaking community deserving of sponsorship from Samuel Eto'o , Joshua would undoubtedly top that list.
Unfortunately, his presence in Morocco is not through FECAFOOT sponsorship, but through personal sacrifice and perseverance.
We wish Joshua Godspeed as he continues to elevate Cameroonian football and inspire the next generation.
Joshua is an alumnus of CPC Bali and the National Polytechnic Bambui.
