If you like moose and amazing landscape and hikes, then check out Sundbygård, Stockholm. We just went Out for a hike and ended up having lunch away from the cool breeze behind this massive fallen pine tree along the waters edge.

From this point we could see some ice fishing and others ice skating. It's full of wind shelters on the opposite side to where we were.

The ULTIMATE guide for warm hands in winter. You never want to get your hands into the situation where you find it hard to strike a match or lighter. If interested then read below.

I always use my wrist warmers as a base layer.

is my choice to wear over top and what I like about Hestra is their range of products to choose from. I usually wear their Alpine army glove and I am a size 9.

For my shell, I wear the Seam Sealed Mitt. This mitt is water and wind proof. It folds up small to be stored away when not in use and can also be used simply over my wrist warmers if the hands get too warm while wearing the Alpine Army gloves.

Depending on whether you are moving or stationary, the multi layer system keeps me warm.

Tip For Winter mattress: it’s now winter and to make sure I stay warm from the freezing cold ground, I have to take a closed cell mat as well as the inflatable mat. Have to consider the possibility that the mat could deflate. I choose the Thermarest Z lite sol with the reflective coating. I place this mat under the air mat with the shiny silver side facing up.

STEP 1 is a 30 degrees hand wash

STEP 2 is to air dry in a room with warm fans

STEP 3, I placed mine into the tumble drying on a low heat with 4 organic wool balls for 2 hours taking it out every 30 minutes to shake and move the down around which stops it from clumping together

Note: I need to now air dry the rest for a few days until fully dry
