IKI’s fifth album ‘BODY’ is released!
Copenhagen-based IKI uses only the voice to craft immersive soundscapes that blur the line between acoustic and electronic.
With tracks titled “Walk,” “Run,” “Dance,” and “Float,” the album echoes the rhythms of physical motion, while a recurring piece, “Circuit,” haunts us with the question: “Are you gone when your body is not breathing?”
Collaborators over the past decade include Laurie Anderson, Blixa Bargeld, and Matthew Herbert. IKI has appeared on stages from TEDx to Roskilde Festival.
