It's never easy to mic up a drumset. Try to start with tuning. After that, pick up some good sounding microphones and search for a sweet spot. Keep in mind to check the phase between the close mics and the overhead/room mics. Don't go too hot into your daw. And of course - make sure you have a great sounding liveroom.

Wer nicht nach dem Gehör tunen kann, kann sich ein Stimmgerät besorgen…..Gitarristen müssen ihre Gitarren ja auch stimmen.
Wir nehmen fürs Drumtuning den Tunebot.

Please always remember, drum tuning is important!
If you can’t tune by ear, you can get a tuner.....Guitarists have to tune their guitars too.
We use the Tunebot for drum tuning.
