Moscow Death Brigade is revealing a new music video “Bass of Doom”, both the track and the video feature a verse by the legendary bass player of MADBALL - Hoya Roc. The video celebrates the release of the first single “Bass of Doom” (release date 28/4/2023) from the upcoming 4th Studio album by the band called “Radio Hope”. The album will see a release on vinyl, CD and digital in October 2023 through Fire and Flames Music (Germany) and Rebel Sound Records (US).

With the “Bass of Doom” music video the band once again displays its connection to the hardcore and punk rock scene of the world. The track combines a heavy electronic sound with aggressive rapping by the two MC’s and the featuring guest Hoya, who drops impressive bars in the third verse. The chorus is a powerful singalong reminiscent of New York Hardcore. The music video contains footage from MDB’s performances at the legendary extreme music festivals: Hellfest (France) and Resurrection Fest (Iberia) and was additionally filmed in Moscow and Miami.

Berlin-based, made in California rap and producer duo DROWNING DOG AND MALATESTA, in short: DDM, have been creating musical rebellion against the unequal society and, as a cultivating part of the American and European radical rap scene, giving a voice to the people who are never heard since 2005.

With this album, DDM again mixes intelligent lyrics with extraordinary soundscapes, which fortunately have nothing in common with the click-bait driven hip hop mainstream, neither in attitude, nor in content, nor in sound. The 14 songs (including some skits and features from south-african hip hop collective Soundz of the South (SOS)) flow between electronica, hip hop, soul, bass music, country, blues, R&B, punk, funk and more, sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but always tight to the point.
