Liebe Freunde,
wie einige von euch vielleicht wissen, haben wir in den 1990er- und 2000er-Jahren hauptsächlich und auch ziemlich erfolgreich Großhandel, Vertrieb und Export gemacht. Dieses Geschäftsfeld hat ab Mitte der 2010er-Jahre leider zunehmend an Bedeutung verloren und spielt heutzutage nur noch eine eher geringe Rolle. Umso mehr haben wir in den vergangenen Jahren den Fokus auf das Online-Geschäft gesetzt und unsere Shops auf Discogs, Ebay und Amazon ausgebaut.
In einem immer noch anhaltenden Prozess machen wir weitere Teile des ehemals exklusiv für den Großhandel vorgesehenen Lagerbestands in unseren Mailorder-Shops verfügbar. Darunter sind auch viele Einzelstücke und zahlreiche mittlerweile gesuchte Titel. Es lohnt sich deshalb, immer mal wieder in unseren Shops nachzuschauen. Womöglich können wir sogar die eine oder andere Lücke in eurer Sammlung schließen!
So haben wir kürzlich einige Sachen von Noise Records, Century Media, Alveran Records und Arise Records eingestellt und es werden weitere folgen. Schaut doch einfach immer mal wieder rein!

as some of you might know, we have mainly (and quite successfully) been doing wholesale distribution and export in the first two decades of our business. Unfortunately, this business area has become increasingly less important since the mid-2010s and currently only plays a minor role. For this reason, we have focused even more on online business and expanded our shops on Discogs, Ebay and Amazon in recent years.
In a still ongoing process, additional parts of the inventory that was previously intended exclusively for wholesale, will be made available in our mail order shops.
These include many unique pieces and numerous titles that are now sought after. It's therefore worth checking out our shops every now and then. We may even be able to fill gaps in your collection!

To all vinyl lovers around the globe who order records from Germany, please read and sign the petition below!

German Post / DHL will reduce the dimensions for 'Warenpost International' (shipment of goods) packages to just 25 cm. That means that, unless we act, beginning July 1st, 12“ records will no longer fit in the boxes assigned to this media.

The cheapest option left then would be Päckchen M International, which can cost two-to-three times the amount of Warenpost.

That would result in average shipping cost of one or two records (especially less expensive records) becoming ridiculously expensive, even moreso after customs tax and handling fees added on.

Here's an example:
If a US customer orders a 12“ record/LP for a price of 12 Euros from Germany at the current rate, shipping costs are typically below or around 10 Euros. After the new pricing takes effect on July 1st, shipping cost could be more than twice that amount!

Many record sellers and record store owners in Germany fear that the number of our foreign oders will decrease, which could act as a final death blow for many retailers who have already struggled to remain afloat during the pandemic.

Therefore, record store owner Dirk Borrmann (of Drake Records in Cologne, Ger), has started a petition to keep the planned format changes from taking effect.
