Sat down yesterday evening to create a list on discogs of my favorite rather underground electronic music record labels, i.e. labels which are stylistically harder to pin down for the non-nerd and which had or still have a focus on releasing vinyl records, plus a handful of the more recent digital labels which are essential to know.
Hope this list helps music loving people from all over the world (like you) to discover them, because in an online platform world that does not really support the idea of a "record label" as a needed filter for quality anymore, this is harder than ever.
These record labels however do or did exist and contributed and supported legendary electronic artists and tracks, some more, some less imho, but hey, this is just my list, and I am a genre nerd for decades now with a few 1000 records at home.

"100 Cult Labels Space-/Italo-/Electro-/Dark-Disco (old & new): You know, the ones with the most hidden gems, those with more arpeggiators, melodies, romance, melancholy, vocals, energy and more fun.
Stylistically, it has always been hard to put them into the right drawer, most are mainly influenced by the funkyness and the futurism of 1970s space disco, the melancholy of darker New Wave and Post-Punk from the late 70s and early 80s, the simplicity of minimal wave and synth-pop in the early 80s, the melodies, melancholy and romance of early 80s Italo Disco, the power of HiNRG and EBM and also psychedelic early 90s Trance.
The labels are also sometimes quite eclectic so you need to do a lot of digging to find the gems, but it is worth it. Some also show a connection to Disco, World Music, Tribal, Acid House, Leftfield, No Wave, Industrial, Soul and New Beat, basically everything and more that makes up "House" music."

I am sure you couldn't come up with a genre name like "Krautrock" today as a journalist without being burned alive or at least shunned as a baby hater or even worse, but nevertheless, the early 1970s were a time in which German "rock" bands started to experiment with electronic instruments and create their very own, unique soundscapes.
