Is your dragon boat going into hibernation? Here are some things you should do!

1. Thoroughly clean the boat inside and outside.
2. Open all inspection hatches (leave them open during winter storage).
3. Lift the boat at the bow and then at the stern and remove any water from the interior.
4. Check the seal between the deck rail and the hull. If any damage is found, repair it immediately.
5. Record any other damage to the boat and create a repair plan.
6. Clean the contacts on the CoxBox mini system plugs and treat them with contact spray. Test their functionality.
7. Charge the CoxBox mini controller (Note: Do not leave it connected to the charger after charging!).
8. Store the boat in a dry and well-ventilated place, if possible.
9. If storing the boat upside down outdoors, do not place it on the deck rail. You can store the boat on the benches.
10. Once you've done all that, look forward to the next season.

Information for all participants in the 17th Dragon Boat World Championship in Germany / Brandenburg.

All BuK dragon boats used at this event fully comply with the IDBF specifications. This means that standard boat IDBF1222 doesn't have any side footrests.

On this boat, the footrests are located in a pair in the floor directly under the benches.

On the High Performance Small Racing Dragon Boat IDBF HP912, in addition to the footrests on the floor, there are also footrests on the sloped side

All boats are pre-equipped for the use of a CoxBox headset system. This means that the boats are equipped with speakers and connections for your CoxBox (system: Nielsen Kellermann).

We wish all participants in the 17th Dragon Boat World Championship much success and, above all, joy in a fair and peaceful international sporting competition. Let us celebrate this festival together and set an example for peaceful coexistence between nations in a time full of conflict.

Important information for our dragon boat customers.

The delivery time for BuK dragon boats is currently at least three months.

This is due to the production of dragon boats for the 2025 World Championships in Brandenburg.

Some of these boats (standard and high-performance boats) will be sold at a special price after the World Championships. Orders for these boats are now being accepted. Contact us, and we will be happy to provide you with a quote.
