Wiener Klassiker - Petar Petrov hat als Designer alles erreicht. Shows, gute Reviews, Selfridges und Net-a-Porter als Retailer. Abgesehen davon machen den Wahl-Wiener aber zwei Dinge aus, die letztlich viel entscheidender zum Überleben in der Modewelt sind: sein Design mit absoluter Coolness, Langzeit-Fans, die nicht von dem Label loskommen.

The German Shooting Star - Luis Dobbelgarten is among our Fashion People 2024.

Er ist Luis Dobbelgarten, Gründer des Labels No/Faith Studios, Wunderkind der Mode, ursprünglich aus der Eifel, 900-Seelen-Dorf und heute die brand, wenn man Leder- oder Denimteile sucht. Begonnen hat seine Karriere mit DIY-Siebdruck-T-Shirts aus dem Kinderzimmer und irgendwann klopfte Travis Scott an für eine No/Faith Studios-Jeans. So was ist natürlich immer hilfreich, um auf die nächste Ebene zu gelangen. Was Dobbelgarten aber trotzdem nicht auf die reguläre Modelaufbahn schmiss.

Als Ida Jonathan Anderson bei einem Fitting persönlich kennengelernt hat, war sie ziemlich aufgeregt, scheint ihn aber beeindruckt zu haben, immerhin ist sie dieses Jahr bereits ihre zweite Show für Loewe gelaufen.

Made in Holland - Groetjes Mandy

Neben Paris, London und Mailand versuchen Kopenhagen und Berlin sich grade als international anerkannte Modestädte in Europa zu etablieren. Amsterdam versucht das auch, aber bevor man an Mode aus der holländischen Hauptstadt denkt, denken viele noch immer eher an die Grachten und den Strom nie enden wollender Fahrräder.

Bei uns ist die Fotografie, die Lithografie und der Druck unseres Magazins etwas Besonderes, auf das wir stolz sind. Deshalb als Neuheit im Webshop, unser erstes Poster auf schön dickem Premium MasterJet Matt Papier gedruckt. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Fotografin Anna Breit und der Stylistin Johanna Bouvier entstand dieses „Einen-ins-Bild-ziehende“-Motiv ursprünglich für deren gemeinsame Strecke in der aktuellen Ausgabe ACHTUNG 48.

Gedruckt in Berlin auf 180gr. Premium Masterjet Matt Papier.

No surprise that since LVMH owned Rimowa would enter the handbag business. Staying on brand, they introduce a shrunken suitcase as a handbag which we took on a 24 hour trip through our home city.
