The DARK BAY Virtual Production Studio is one of Europe's biggest permanently installed LED studio for virtual film productions at
Studio Babelsberg.

On the 55-meter-long, 7-meter-high and 270° curved LED wall consisting of a total of 1470 state-of-the-art ROE LED panels, 2D and 3D worlds of any kind can be displayed. Instead of green screens, digital backgrounds can now be pre-produced as 3D worlds and displayed onto DARK BAY.

DARK BAY is one of Europe's biggest permanently installed LED studio for virtual productions. Founded by DARK WAYS and Studio Babelsberg in the historic sound stages of Potsdam Babelsberg, the Virtual Production Studio is one of the world's largest LED installations, using state-of-the-art ROE Visual LED panels. In addition, industry partners ARRI, Faber Audiovisuals, Framestore, VICON MOTION SYSTEMS & TRACKMEN were involved in the development of the studio.

Today DARK BAY goes into production with its first project: Netflix Show 1899. From Q4/2021 it will offer future clients a proven setup.
