I call this model the 'CannaEvo'.
It's the evolution of my regular Hempstone roundback guitars using solid wood.
The shape of the body provides a much tighter fit to the body while maintaining a big body volume.

The side sound port is directed at the player and provides a huge bass response.
It's been a challenge to figure this one out, but it was well worth the effort.

Been working on this for the past couple of months. It has been far more complicated than I thought. Well that's something new isn't it? 😅
Anyways, I'm really happy with how it turned out.
It's a solid wood version of the laminated guitar model of mine.
The concave shape on the back now provides an even greater relief than before.
I've recorded everything and will post a video of the build on my YouTube when I find the time to do the editing.

New project I've been working on the last couple of weeks. It's gonna be a continuation of the 'wood series'. This time with solid wood instead of laminated. That's what I built that extra long bending iron for. To bend the back. To glue the back plates together required some creativity as you can see 😁
Still lots of things to figure out but I'm getting there ✌️

Yet again, @patrickwoerner never seizes to amaze! This time with my brand new #Cannalele. I am working on a concert #ukulele as well. And I have a body, that would fit a tenor #uke if somebody is interested ;-)

Repost from @patrickwoerner . Playing the CannaCaster (and one of my acoustics) - pickups: Harry Häussel 'broad' . Only the neck pickup was used here. ------------------------------This is my brand new #CannaCaster . Made with a #hempstone covered body. The same material I use for my acoustics. 100% hemp and 100% unique. It has a ~4-5mm Hempstone 'shell' with a wooden core(Paulownia). This way it stays pretty light and has a hard and beautiful Hempstone surface. The idea behind the #telecaster layout is, so that you could just get the body from me and build your own custom CannaCaster! Since all the parts (measurements ) are standardized. You can get e.g. the neck and all the other parts locally and assembled it yourself. This way I can offer the bodies (alone) for much less and also save a lot of shipping cost. I will upload a build guide video on my YouTube very soon. You could follow the guide and build one just like that or do your own variation. Or let me do all the work. The ‘Canna Guitar’ is my approach to create a truly unique and avant-garde guitar that brings joy to look at and to make music with.

It all started when I discovered the material I now use for my guitar bodies: Hempstone.

A fascinating material that consists purely out of natural h**p fibers and water. It allows me to create a three-dimensional body that gives you, the musician, a compact and comfortable playing experience while reflecting the sound much better creating a rich and masterful sound allowing you to create amazing music. The biggest reward for me is to see great artists using my work to make true art.

My philosophy is to build state of the art, custome-made guitars taylored to your specific needs and wishes that makes you stand out and to amaze and inspire you, so you can do the same for your audience.
