Meet Pirastro Artists Quatuor Elmire.

Founded in 2017, this string quartet has been awarded the Etrillard Foundation Special Prize for the most outstanding artistic project at the prestigious 2023 Concours de Genève and have performed in major venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, Victoria Hall in Geneva, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, and the Grange au Lac in Evian.

We are happy that they are part of our Pirastro Artist family and enjoy playing our Evah Pirazzi Gold and Perpetual strings! 🎻

We are once again looking back at everything that 2025 had to offer! 💫

Our Pirastro team traveled to many different places last year to meet with customers, musicians, string teachers and luthiers from around the world. We were so happy to meet you and assist you in finding the perfect product to match your instrument.

From NAMM Show in USA, Akustika in Germany, ESTA Nederland, European String Teachers Association in the Netherlands, International Society of Bassists in the USA to Cremona Musica in Italy - we enjoyed traveling around the world and meeting everyone!

We are looking forward to this year's festivals and exhibitions and hope to see you there! Happy 2026! 💫

We are looking back at a year filled with great memories and new beginnings which also reflects in our dynamic range of new products. 💫

In the string department we launched our new Evah Pirazzi Neo strings that have been carefully crafted and developed in collaboration with Janine Jansen. 🎻

For our double bass players we introduced the new Perpetual Stark Set, a unique development in comparison to Perpetual "Mittel" with a fuller and warmer sound.

We also released a new Korfker product this year: The PIRASTRO KorfkerSpring! This chin rest is one of a kind: It's the world's lightest and first ever flexible chin rest with a unique patented spring system.
