Merry XMAS from the Perkussiv headquarters... May you enjoy your time with family and friends!
While we from the blessed western world are only struggling with 1st world problems, the situation in Ukraine is still very bad.
To keep it short:
Every earnings from the Bandcamp sales until the end of 2022 will go straight to our close artist friends Histibe / Maks Histibe. He is a great free spirit artist and he still needs our support in these rough times.
So, the whole discography of Perkussiv releases is 50% at Bandcamp. Plus if you didn't get the chance, you can still purchase the Amex Techno Techno-DnB samplepack to level up your productions!

Amex' Techno DnB samplepack is available!
Originally it was planned to release this samplepack on Mask Movement, which is run by Histibe. As he is from Ukraine, the situation as of now (March 2022) makes it impossible to release the samplepack as intended.
After the situation has calmed down and things run normally again, this samplepack will get its proper release on Mask Movement.
All earnings from this samplepack are going directly to Histibe himself, in order to support him and his family in this difficult situation. Perkussiv does not take any political side.

This samplepack by Amex is filled with tons of sounds for producing Techno DnB. The aim is to help out motivated producers who seek for technoid inspiration. It contains all samples of Amex' recently released 'Halfbar LP' on Perkussiv. This pack also delivers bonus content: Amex went through all his samples he created over the last 20 years, picked out the most distinctive ones and has put them in this samplepack.

IMPORTANT: This is a bandcamp exclusive release. Unfortunately Bandcamp does not support selling samplepacks directly. But we found a workaround: When purchasing the samplepack you will find a README file with a download link to the samplepack. This PDF is attached as bonus content.

Perkussiv Music proudly presents the first album by Amex: The 'Halfbar LP'. Producing a LP was always one big goal by Amex, which finally comes to reality today, the 12th anniversary of Perkussiv.
His main focus was to provide Techno-DnB in its purest, most radical, non-compromised, but yet evolved manner.
We hope you like this release, it means the world for Perkussiv and Amex, but it stands for even more:
It is the true hope and confidence that Techno-DnB will rise like phoenix from the ashes, showing it has grown up and finds its well-deserved established place, with the intention to stay. With this 'Halfbar LP', artists may be inspired to express their true selves, the inner soul and keep being original.

TN1 of Venom Inc. Audio (VIA) was kind enough to give us the honour to describe the journey of Amex and to express his thoughts on the 'Halfbar LP':
"Amex is no stranger to Techno-DnB having been hard at work in the genre long before it was even given a name. His early production efforts made a huge impact and quickly spread far beyond his native Germany, crossing Europe and even further afield.
By 2009 there was already a strong catalog of material including high-profile remixes for Nphonix and Proket, as well as a string of collaborations and original tracks such as Monsun, which is as fresh today as it was when it first arrived in my inbox all those years ago.
Having created a solid body of work he focused his attention elsewhere by providing help and support for other producers working in the same vein, and so in 2010 'Perkussiv Music' was born.
His commitment, dedication and ‘From the heart’ mantra was and still is inspirational to me and many others who call this small scene Home. Only a handful of people can claim to have influenced a genre with their musical output, even fewer can say they’ve also helped to build that genre from the ground-up.
It’s said that good things come to those who wait, I’ve been waiting patiently for the last 15 years to see this special project come to life, and now I have the greatest honour to introduce to you, The Halfbar LP.

DARK MATTERS
Grooves grooves and more grooves. Building from a dramatic start and locking you in from the first bar.
KALUM
From the heart. No compromise intro that immediately drops into a whirlwind of percussion and low frequencies.
PERKNADO
Beautifully strange. White noise, big kicks and relentless low frequencies combine for maximum energy.
TECHNOMANIA
Ready? Blast! Intricate stabs and detailed FX are arranged around a classic Halfbar that just keeps pushing until the end.
STEEER
Recursive aggression. Stripped down and deadly drums are paired with trademark Vox and a lead that will creep up on you fast.
REDUX ME
Instant Techno. Layers upon layers of grooves that are calling out to be looped. Techno-DnB is alive and well.
KERNER
Synthetic souls. Mysterious textures build over an unsettling halfbar that cuts through like a laser.
SHAMEN
Spiritual energy. Bringing the proceedings to a conclusion is Shamen, altering the genre state of consciousness forever."

The year 2021 is about to end. 2022 is about to start. Perkussiv delivers with its next release 'MTGA EP' by Absurd [PERK-DNB027] a worthy musical companion for NYE.

As a long time Perkussiv member, Absurd finally strikes back in his 'MTGA EP' and shows his brilliant, ingenious talent for Techno-driven DnB. C.A.2K - longtime Perkussiv member as well - gave him and us the honour to serve two smashing, dancefloor-banger remixes.
On the A-side with 'MTGA', Absurd wrote maybe one of the best tracks in his life. The overall mood beautifully reflects his deep soul hailing from Sibiria: mystic, melancholic, almost nostalgic, but still prospective. The distinct trademark leadsound in 'MTGA' is just heart-warming and could be described as a 'string of the soul'. It perfectly merges with the fast paced, convoluted, ghost-kick driven beat and the outstanding subtle midrange-bass.
TL;DR: MTGA is pure goosebumps all over and really 'Makes Technoid Great Again'!
With 'Krakoin' on the B-side, we can get to know the true promise of how wide-ranged Absurd's musical skills are. 'Krakoin' is a blatant, but yet subtle stepper with heavy basswork, wonderful bleepy leadsounds and strings. It is pleasantly cleaned up, straight to the point and a perfect tune to mix. 'Krakoin' is just a masterpiece on its own.
C.A.2K is known for making no compromises and getting straight to the point. On the C-side he shows his very own interpretation of MTGA: Smashing Snare, distorted sounds and a dancefloor killer. He took the main-lead sound of MTGA and embedded it in a classic Drum and Bass stepper. On the D-side C.A.2K takes Krakoin's bleeby leadsounds and twists them to a whole different level. Characteristically, C.A.2K transforms Krakoin to a blatant party smasher as well.

This release shows that Techno-DnB was never dead. We need more unique artists like Absurd to 'Make Technoid (Even) Great(er) Again'. Perkussiv Music is just one small piece of a puzzle, but it will never stop pushing deep-hearted driven music. Luckily we see a Techno-DnB-rise again.

Thank you Evgeniy for giving one of your best tunes ever made, MTGA, to Perkussiv Music. It is an honour to have that masterpiece in the collection and that it helps shaping the Perkussiv brand even more.
