Yesterday, I had the distinct privilege of engaging in substantive discussions with Sharique, the esteemed founder of Desi Media Group. A respected leader in the German-Pakistani community and a visionary serial entrepreneur in Desi community in Germany. Sharique joined me for a working lunch where, amidst the clink of silverware and the aroma of grilled lamb and barbeque, we delved into the prospect of merging our media groups. This endeavor, as it comes to fruition, holds the promise of reshaping the Indian subcontinental community’s media landscape in profound ways in Germany. It was a distinct honor to convene this meeting wherein I was profoundly impressed by Sharique's keen intellect, his unwavering commitment to innovation, and his deep-seated dedication to empowering his community. It is with unwavering conviction that I believe a union of our forces would unleash a synergy capable of achieving truly transformative outcomes, not only for our organizations but for the broader society we both strive to serve. As a follow up to the round tables in Amsterdam, the evening concluded with a merger, and joint plans for a successful year, and the upcoming Berlin and USA trips. By joining forces, using this merger, we leverage our combined strengths, to achieve ambitious outcomes for talented actors, singers, filmmakers amongst us, both here and abroad.
