This is the final preview of my upcoming EP on Explosive, titled Snaga Iz Mraka, which translates to Strength From Darkness.
The closing track, Večna—written in Cyrillic as вечна—means Eternal in English and wraps up the EP. I created this track last, after channeling most of my emotions into the first three tracks. The opening track, Snaga, represents grief and letting go. Karma, the second track, is about processing anger, and track three, Sila, is a raw expression of rage.
With Sila, I was already pushing the limits of Hardcore, and with Večna, I took that even further, but slower, heavier, and darker. The kick is layered with a Hardcore kick I made a while back, paired with a deep, hollow 909 kick loaded with reverb. It makes you question: is this still Techno? What really separates Techno from Hardcore?
There’s a dark, haunting vibe that wraps itself around the heavy beats, like a warm blanket, allowing you to empty your mind and let the sound take over. For me, this track was a way to close a difficult chapter and find closure for my anger.
Fun fact: all the track titles have two syllables and end in "A", so I wanted the last one to follow the same pattern. While searching for Serbian words, I came across Večna, which immediately reminded me of Vecna from Stranger Things. That character is also full of rage, making it a fitting reference. Plus, there’s a legendary PCP track titled E-Ternal that carries a similar dark energy.
Originally, all the titles were written in Cyrillic script, but most platforms can’t handle that. It’s just another eternal problem, reminding us that not everything will go the way we want it to...
Cold Signals – Snaga Iz Mraka drops October 21st.
Cold Signals - Snaga Iz Mraka (Strength From Darkness)
This is my second EP on Explosive Techno, titled Snaga Iz Mraka, which means "Strength From Darkness." In this preview, we present the third track of the EP, titled Sila (сила in Cyrillic), which translates to "Force" in English.
With Sila, I explore the boundary between hard techno and hardcore—two genres that, although distinct, are closely related in terms of energy and flow. This track is a powerful blend of both styles and was created during a period when I was filled with anger and frustration. It was a time when I was climbing out of a dark phase, and music became the perfect outlet. Sila is my way of transforming those raw emotions into something creative and positive.
I hope that when this EP is released, the music can offer others an outlet as well, whether you're into techno or hardcore. It doesn't matter what genre you prefer; in the end, we all face challenges and difficult moments in life. The question is whether you draw strength from it and use it to create something good, or let it bring you down.

Cold Signals - Snaga Iz Mraka
This is my second EP on Explosive Techno. Snaga Iz Mraka translates to Strength From Darkness. Here’s a preview of the second track on the EP: Karma (карма in Cyrillic).
Karma hits harder than the opening track Snaga. The kick is built from multiple layers, including a sample from a slower 90s Hardcore track. This sample forms the backbone of a powerful Industrial Techno kick.
The track embodies the idea of karma: when someone wrongs you, karma comes around to settle the score. This helped me release feelings of resentment and move on—even if it’s just a placebo effect. In the end, whatever works, works.
I hope this track helps others unleash their energy, let go of the day-to-day grind, and draw strength from the darkness.

"These four tracks were born as I was clawing my way out of one of the darkest periods of my life. I found myself standing at a crossroads, with several paths ahead of me, but the wreckage I had just escaped from still lay behind. Music became my outlet, the way I processed everything, especially the negative emotions. I had some lingering pain that needed a place to go, and these tracks are the result. The Serbian title, Snaga iz Mraka, translates to Strength From Darkness.
Snaga, meaning strength, is the first track of the EP. It's a heavy, dark stomper, brimming with power. The deep, pounding kick makes it feel like you're standing in a dark hall, and the atmospheric sounds pull you into the shadows, inviting you to release all your negativity into the darkness."
