Record label for experimental electronica ambient music and visuals. Privatelektro founded in Leipzig, Germany in 2000. Sakori - from Scotland).

the record label is dedicated to experimental, electronic and ambient music. The first releases are from the 2 Labelowners and decent collaborators (Mr. triPhaze (Marek Brandt) and c_drive (C. Wruck) are Parachute (the nucleus of privatelektro). After the quite successful first sampler, we did more and more for collaborations with other labels and international artists. In 2003 privatelektro merge

d with Dust-D-Bugger Records and Reverend Benn Schipper joins the Label. 2008 the sampler : "a private shade of green" was released with the "Gruenrecorder" imprint from Frankfurt. Many the Label Artists are also working in Video and digital Arts, (Mr. Sakori and Igor Hax and Marek Brandt / triPhaze are successful media Artists)

Since 2003 privatelektro are also hosting a Headphone Festival, which develops to a bigger event over the years. From 2008 we hold the Electric Garden Festival in Leipzig / our Homebase and teamed up with the Leipzig / Artist 33 for that. The Festival takes Place at the Galerie KUB. In 2007 some new Artists signed to privatelektro and the musical focus are widen up for electroacoustic, fieldrecordings and as well classic instruments. The physical released are often handcrafted and numbered limited editions. We are releasing: electronic, ambient, drone, fieldrecordings, impro, jazz, minimal avantgarde, industrial and electronica..
