The hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata) is a critically endangered sea turtle belonging to the family Cheloniidae. It is the only extant species in the genus Eretmochelys. The species has a global distribution that is largely limited to tropical and subtropical marine and estuary ecosystems.

Longfin Batfishs (Platax teira)

Platax teira has a dark blotch under the pectoral fin, with another long dark mark above the base of the a**l fin. Looked at from the side, it has a roughly circular body with a low hump on the nape. This fish is usually silver, grey or brownish.

The Marbled snake eel is a medium-sized fishwhich grows up to 87 cm. It inhabits the sandy and muddy bottoms close to coastal reefs, from 1 until 37 m in depth. The Marbled snake eel has a nocturnal activity.

Spot-fin Porcupinefish (Diodon hystrix)

The spot-fin porcupinefish is a medium-sized fish which grows up to 91 cm, but the average size mostly observed is 40 cm. In case of danger, the porcupinefish can inflate itself by swallowing water to deter the potential predator with its larger volume and it can raise its spines.

The porcupinefish concentrates tetrodotoxin in certain parts of its body such as the liver, skin, go**ds and the viscera. This defensive system constitutes an additional device to dissuade potential predators.

Tentacled flathead fish are the most common flatheads. They can lie motionless in the sand for hours, unaffected by the hustle and bustle around them, waiting for prey. I once saw one directly under the boat at the anchorage of Godda Abu Ramada. There were about fifteen boats there at the time and when I returned to the boat an hour later, it was still there. At least 20 divers took photos of it and it still didn't run away.

Barracudas appear in open seas. They are voracious predators and hunt by ambush. They rely on surprise and short bursts of speed up to 27 mph (43 km/h) to overrun their prey, sacrificing maneuverability. Barracudas are more or less solitary in their habits. Young and half-grown fish frequently congregate in shoals.
