Let's face it: Neither Instagram, Threads, Soundcloud, Spotify or any other platform is really fit for sharing music. Instagram doesn't even have a category for music. They want everyone to use the same "trending" bs music on your reels. No one uses SC anymore and Spotify is made for random algorithmic discovery, not for following artists you care about.
Email is the only medium where you can get a message across reliably because there is no algorithm that blocks you out if you don't show your face or breakfast.
I've been avoiding the IG feed for 2 weeks now and only came here to post new music and god damn life feels so much better and easier without the feeds. Email is the future.
