Eminem is producing 'Stans', a new film that explores the fanatical, sometimes dark culture of fandom.
The film takes its name from the rapper's 2000 hit song, "Stan," which tells the story of an obsessed fan whose delirious hero-worship leads him to kill his pregnant partner and himself.
Directed by Steven Leckart ('What’s My Name: Muhammad Ali'), the documentary is said to show a “revealing, edgy, and disarmingly personal journey into the world of superfandom, told through the lens of one of the world’s most iconic and enduring artists, Eminem, and the fans that worship him.”'
