Homeparkpress Homeparkpress is an independent publishing project from Hamburg, Germany.

Founded in 2008, and run by Christopher Anhalt and Stefan Kaetz, the label operates at the intersection of photography, design and typography. Homeparkpress believes in the photo book as an autonomous form of artistic expression, and cares about photographic work that is at once documentary and poetic. Books:

P-11 by Thomas Boivin shows us the photographer's apartment at 11 Rue des Panoyaux in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. Still lifes of kitchen, food, and book shelves dominate the publication’s 18 black & white photographs. The photographer moved out of this apartment in 2017, and finishes the publication with a short text looking back in wonder.
After Y-31 by A-Chan, P-11 is the second Homeparkpress publication dealing with the topic of "home".

Forthcoming title: Y-31 by A-CHAN

Y-31 presents 24 photographs taken in Yanaka, Japan, about one hour north-east of Tokyo in Ibaraki prefecture. A-CHAN spent her childhood in Yanaka, the place where her family house is situated. She took the 24 photographs years later, between 2007 and 2017, during visits after moving abroad. For the publication, A-CHAN added a hand-drawn map and a text.

Y-31 is A-CHAN’s seventh photobook, and she has been included in the photobook anthology “How We See: Photobooks by Women”. A-CHAN lives and works in New York City.

Y-31 is the first title in a planned series of Homeparkpress publications dealing with “home”. It will be launched at I Never Read Art Book Fair Basel in June.
