Founded towards the end of 2011, Kaiserdisco’s KD Music imprint came after three years of increasing dancefloor dominance from the partnership of Patrick Buck and Frederic Berger. KD Music became a natural progression for the German pair who have exemplified the ‘been there, done that, got the t-shirt’ status of two fast becoming prolific underground dance buccaneers. Their continued building of a
global profile and presence has scaled the heights of producing two-well received LPs, remixing for Booka Shade, Robyn, Steve Lawler and Christian Smith, putting out releases on Drumcode, Suara and Sn**ch!, and delighting continents of tech-house disciples. As recently as this year, in dispelling theories of a seven year itch, Buck and Berger strengthened their status by announcing that they are re-connecting on the road to give worldwide audiences the complete KD knowledge of dance. Set up to a traditional train of thought – a label that would give themselves and their personal favourites greater leverage, with Buck and Berger obeying what their ears were telling them to go for - it has become an imprint filled with experienced spinners, hungry ones-to-watch and Kaiserdisco’s sustained expertise. Its strength in depth flies the flag for international dance music, and with Arjun Vagale, Collective Machine, Danny Serrano, Eddie Amador, F. Sonik, Harry Romero, Hollen, Paride Saraceni, Rafa Barrios, Ramiro Lopez, Spencer K and WHYT NOYZ amongst its numbers, KD Music has quickly notched a 50-strong back catalogue that can only go on to amass more and more anthems and memories.
