The Agency

Spin Model Management was established in 2007. Located in the heart of Hamburg, just a few steps away from the renowned Alster lake, Spin has demonstrated that a boutique agency with a well curated and exclusive selection of models need not be located in New York or Paris.

Founder Maik Tangel and his business partner Chris Riechmann together with their eight-member team care for global clients and models and place these models with some of the largest and most important magazines and fashion designers in the world.

Thanks to a friendly and open atmosphere and a booking team, which looks after each model with great care, Spin has rightfully become a top name among international model agencies. Spin intentionally distances itself from commission deals and quantity discounts that have unfortunately become typical for many agencies in Germany. Why? Because these practices almost always come at the expense of the models.

The agency prides itself on its integrity and its personal, sustainable and responsible model management. Spin Model Management is a member of VELMA, the association of leading model agencies in Germany.
