Breaking the mould 💥

is an interdisciplinary platform that intersects artistic practices and pop culture to explore contemporary issues through visual stories. Each edition showcases a narrative divided into chapters entrusted to one or multiple artists. By intertwining modern tales with fashion stories, Schema redefines the purpose of a magazine to be visually appealing yet readable as a cohesive story.

Let the road decide the destination 🚲

An invitation to see the world by bike, is a print magazine and cycling community. Their mission is to tell stories and capture rides that share the human side of cycling. After all, every journey is personal, and some choose to enjoy theirs by bike.

Cycling, at its core, is movement—a way to get from point A to point B and beyond. But for many, riding a bike represents so much more. A means of escape, discovery and exploration. An opportunity to make friends and create communities. A way we push past our comfort zones into the wilds of the unknown. Riding a bike affords us the opportunity to appreciate the details in between. To create beautiful objects, tell stories and explore the near and the far.

When we ride, we connect with other people—the bike acting as a catalyst for conversation and a vehicle for introspection. It offers a way of unraveling life’s complications and making sense of the world in which we live. Cycling allows us to extend our horizons and enjoy the freedom of movement—stopping and starting on a whim.

To live our lives by other means.

New issue who dis❓

She has arrived! Making a glorious return to print, magazine is back celebrating fashion, culture, individuality and youth.

The Spring/Summer 2025 issue explores the thrill of newness, uncertainty, and best of all, strangers. It stars three cover girls who originally appeared on the cover of i-D as complete unknowns (in 1986, 2012, and 2025 respectively).

Enza Khoury is a high school senior and budding actress from Chagrin Falls, Ohio. i-D first met her through an extensive nationwide talent search for their next cover star. “I just found her to be very mesmerizing,” recalls the legendary casting director Jennifer Venditti, who met hundreds of young people in the process of finding Enza. “I want to hear what she wants to do in the world.” In addition to acting, Enza is an avid gamer and an activist against transphobic legislation in her state, all while taking shifts at her local movie theater. i-D went to Ohio to enter Enza’s World.

i-D has built its reputation on being a consistent source of inspiration in fashion culture. It began as a fanzine dedicated to the street style of punk-era London in 1980, and quickly earned its position at the vanguard of fashion and style, abiding by the premise of originate – don’t imitate. i-D has come a long way since its pre-digital, cut-and-paste days and has developed into a glossy magazine that documents fashion and contemporary culture, and has broken ground defining it too.
