Each new release marks a small but significant departure into something new for them and into something even more ATOGK.

Thank you for keeping me part of this journey.
It's been years now, and I hope it will be lots more.

Mix was done by my mate Jan KerscherKerscher at Ghost City Recordings.

Also, "Manic" is brought to you by ListenBerlin, so to me, this is a real family affair, as I hold everyone involved here quite dearly.

Spending Saturday night repositioning the STRAUSS Elektroakustik SE-MF2.

There's always room for improvement. I love to question my setup on a regular basis and check if I did not max out something in the past.

With highly professional tools like this pair of monitors, almost every millimeter you move them counts and actually does something significant in a room like this.

I will spend hours doing this now, and I'll love it...

With the new drivers, the Strauss SE-MF2 have become something like the ultimate tool for faithful audio reproduction. Which is exactly what is needed for mastering.

Sofia manages to sound different on every new song, still each one is unmistakably her.
You don't find that very often.

Welcome back, it's a privilege to be working with you on a regular basis.

Analog mix as brilliant as ever, again done by
/Alex Theisen.

A few words about the Maselec MEA-2 equalizer - this was my very first mastering equalizer, and I learned a whole lot from using it. Besides being a true swiss knife of a mastering EQ, it still surprises me from time to time with settings only this very EQ seems to be able to do in an excellent fashion: cutting annoying mids at 2K8 or 3K3 without ruining anything else, and, lately, a little push at 7K6 (of all frequencies!)... Prism/Maselec really created a legendary piece of equipment here.
