Darkness and chaos carved to art. The debut album from Berlins Sludge/Post-Metal outfit Shovel combined with the visualization of human figures going into the unknown, amidst green acid louds created by illustrator and tattoo artist Lisa Bender. This album is also a protest against digitalization - it is about analogue musical gear and recording methods. The artwork comes to meet that need as well, as it is originally a lino print. We’re proud to merge those unique artists together for this release and bring you the musical havoc and passionate handcraft we love and appreciate.

We also like to introduce you to the incredible works of Berlin-based artist Lisa Bender / Étions formidables. She did the album artwork for the Shovel album and a piece of her art is also part of our release (more infos about that tomorrow). She works as a tattoo artist, illustrator and is specialist in the lino cutting craft.

Lisa describes her work as follows: "After trying out about a million things I finally feel fully confident in choosing lino cutting and tattooing as my creative medium. Funnily both things demand quite a high level of attention and you can easily get hurt or hurt others if you are not fully committed to the moment. If you f**k up, it's pretty much irreversible. Another reason to love it is that it's quite physical so a lot of my energy is going into the final piece of art, which adds a different kind of value according to my beliefs."

Dear Chinaskians, today we introduce you to SNDNBCK. In combination with the music from Kratzer we’re very proud to have this artist on board for the „Alles liegt in Scherben“ release which will be released this Friday.

The works of SNDNBCK are dark, intense and 100% eye candy. He works with mixed media collages and creates screen prints, shirts, gig poster and artworks for bands, booking collectives such as DEATHRITE, GRIM VAN DOOM, Trvefrykt Booking, Cult of Occult or Elbsludgebooking.

The desperate lyrics and the sonic mayhem of Kratzer melts perfectly together with the disturbing imagery of SNDNBCK.

Dear Chinaskians, today we like you to introduce you to Kratzer.

We're thrilled to release their album "Alles liegt in Scherben" on Cassette Tape in combination with a killer silkcreen poster designed by SNDNBCK.

This record got so much power and energy, it almost jumps out of the speakers to grab your throat and scream the lyrics in your face - D-Beat Hardcore at it's finest and fierce with delicate melodies at the same time.

Thanks to 7DegreesRecords for putting out such a gem in the first place and let us release it on cassette now.

It was recorded, mixed and mastered by Hauke Albrecht who definitely sets the bar high when it comes to record such sonic assaults. He also worked with bands like Mountain Witch or Turbostaat.

So please give this band a listen, buy their merch and go to their shows when you can!

This combination of two artists is also a collaboration between two friends who went through hard times and found themselves supporting each other through art. Since photographer Benjamin Burat is a big fan of Post-Rock music, Malapärt decided to make him a very special birthday present. Fueled and inspired by poems and lyrics Benjamin wrote to fight his demons of the past, the multi-instrumentalist went into the studio and composed and recorded „Narben“ from scratch in one day in 2018. The outcome now is a very emotional product of music and photography between two friends and their ongoing journey through tough phases of their lives.

Dear Chinaskians, what you see is one of four illustrations AIN did for the upcoming Kavrila - Rituals III Tape release. Inspired by the music and lyrics of the four songs on the EP.

Each of the illustrations will be printed on high quality heavy carton and will be refined by the artist in a special way as the final stage of the artwork.

Dear Chinaskians,

we present to you AIN from Hamburg, Germany. She will be the first Artist to collaborate with us for the first Chinaskian release, „Rituals III“ by Kavrila AIN does collages with vintage magazines, mixed media technology and typographic elements. Lately she began to dive in some illustrations which reached our eyes and we liked so much, that we had to asked her about doing something for Kavrila. We’re proud to have her on board for the very first release. Be sure to check her out and support a great artist!

AIN about the collaboration with The Chinaskian Conspiracy and Kavrila: „I've been deeply rooted in the metal scene and of course I felt very honoured when Kavrila asked me to design four illustrations for their new release „Rituals III“. It felt very natural and free to create art this way and I had a lot of fun while doing this.“
