"ORIGINE" is a spellbinding journey to the dawn of the Ancient Bards' saga, serving as a prequel to the epic tale of the Black Crystal Sword. This album unravels the origins of the legendary sword and sheds light on the forces that ignited the eternal struggle of light and darkness. It is a tale brimming with magic, ambition, and the belief in a destiny forged in shadows.
1. Origine
"Now it is time for you to know about its genesis."
Long before Lastworld came to be, there was the radiant realm of the Aeons. Divine, eternal yet mortal, these beings lived in harmony, their existence devoted to the luminous energy of the White Crystal. This sacred source was the core of all creation, a pulsating force that nourished the universe. The Aeons meditated tirelessly, striving for absolute wisdom, seeking to merge with the crystal’s vibration and uncover their divine purpose. This was the world of pristine light, but darkness was waiting to rise.
2. Impious Dystopia
The serenity shatters. A fierce battle erupts between two siblings: Eirene, a beacon of purity, and Lork, her brother, consumed by an encroaching shadow. In Eirene’s grasp gleams the Black Crystal Sword, a weapon forged with unimaginable power. Their clash is not just a battle of wills but a fight for destiny itself, a prelude to the war that will consume the Aeons.
3. Fantasy's Wings
In a fleeting glimpse of innocence, we are transported to the siblings' youth, when Eirene and Lork lived in harmony in the Crystal Village. Their days were filled with joy and camaraderie, their only battles being playful contests. But beneath their laughter, the seeds of their tragic fates were already sown.
4. Aerum Legacy
The Aeons’ wise leader, the father of Eirene and Lork, summons them. It is time to pass on the Aerum, a medallion of light that symbolizes wisdom and guides its bearer toward their divine purpose. The honor falls to Eirene, whose pure soul is already one with the light. Lork, however, feels the sting of rejection, his inner turmoil growing as he is cast aside.
5. Light
Eirene accepts the Aerum, fully aware of the immense burden it brings. She knows her journey will be fraught with challenges, and each day will demand unyielding strength to remain in the light. Yet she vows to fulfill her purpose, carrying the hopes of the Aeons as a beacon of salvation.
6. Oscurità
Lork, overwhelmed by bitterness and a sense of exclusion, wrestles with the darkness blooming inside him. He denies its presence, yet it takes hold, feeding on his anguish. His heart, once filled with devotion, is now engulfed by shadow and rage.
7. Titanism
In a devastating confrontation, Lork unleashes his fury on their father. He accuses him of betrayal, of favoring Eirene and leaving him to languish in the shadow. Their father sees the dangerous fire in Lork’s heart and warns him to quell it before he falls into the abyss. But the warning comes too late. Driven by rage, Lork commits the unthinkable, he takes his father’s life, crossing the point of no return.
8. The Hollow
When the anger fades, Lork is left to face the horrifying aftermath. His father lies lifeless at his feet, and the realization of his actions crushes him. The darkness has won. Unable to bear the weight of his sin, Lork flees to the Home of Rejects, a land of outcasts, banished for their corruption and failure to align with the light.
9. Home of Rejects
In this forsaken land, Lork finds solace among those cast out by the Aeons. These Rejects, burdened by the same darkness, welcome Lork as a kindred spirit. They see him as their leader, entrusting him with the Malum, the medallion of their exiled people. Together, driven by vengeance and the thirst for purpose, they begin to carve out a new destiny.
10. The Great Divide
Back in the Crystal Village, Eirene finds her father’s lifeless body and falls into despair. Her heart breaks as she mourns the loss of both her father and her brother. As her tears fall onto the crystal ground, an incandescent light bursts forth. Her grandfather, a wise elder, tells her that she is the chosen one, destined to lead the Aeons toward their ultimate purpose. To do so, she must create a weapon of unparalleled power, imbued with the essence of pure light. This weapon will be the White Crystal Sword, a blade forged to annihilate the encroaching darkness.
"Origine" is the tale of beginnings, a prelude to a saga of light and shadow, of love and betrayal, of destiny and sacrifice. It tells the story of two siblings bound by fate yet torn apart by their choices, each carving a path that will shape the universe forever.
