With "Hearts Of Gold", Ulf Müller's Projekt Ich releases its ninth single. It is accompanied by a "Remix Edition" and an "Instrumental Remix Edition", featuring five remixes by artists from the USA and Germany. The corresponding album is set for release in spring/summer 2025 via ECHOZONE.

After successful extended singles like "Paméla Amen feat. LISA PUNG", "Dad feat. Madil Hardis", and "Kosmonaut feat. Arsine Tibé", "Heart Of Gold feat. MaXi" impressively expands the musical repertoire of PROJEKT ICH.

A Story of Strength and Compassion:
For "Heart Of Gold", Ulf Müller collaborated with Swedish singer MaXi, who not only lends her powerful voice to the track but also wrote the trilingual lyrics (Swedish, English, German). Additionally, her production team contributed the MaXi-P Remix.

The song tells the story of a woman with nerves of steel and a heart of gold. Her life was full of challenges, yet she fought her way to the top—without ever losing sight of others.

A Musical Journey Through 80s-Inspired Danceable Synthpop:
Musically, "Heart Of Gold" takes listeners back to the golden era of 80s synthpop, driven by a pulsating beat made for the dancefloor.

As an exciting contrast, the B-side features the NDW-inspired track "Do You Remember", sung by Ulf Müller himself. The song evokes nostalgic memories, as hinted in the opening verse: "Do you remember? The forest and its birds, the lakes and rivers, so deep in your dreams."

On their latest single 'Eternal', The Grab Society enter into an unholy alliance with singer Annabelle. Her charismatic voice conjures up a truly spooky atmosphere. The artist oscillates between the bloodcurdling charisma of a Nina Hagen and a glamorous 20s/30s mood in the spirit of “Babylon Berlin”. In combination with the recitative parts by Manfred Thomaser and Ulf Müller, the result is a fascinating concoction all of its own.

“Eternal” is now getting a remix sequel. In keeping with the vampiric theme, it descends into the dark, dimly lit clubs. The gently moving introduction is marked by FragileChild's arrangement before Oren Amram turns the beat up a notch in his dance version. In the remix by Tevalik, the rhythmic element is emphasized even more, inevitably increasing the trance factor. After that, it is hardly surprising that the Annabelle remix focuses on the vocal performances. In combination with the somewhat hectic sounds, this creates an almost crazy, frightening impression. The final Un(d)AbtanzBAR mix skillfully picks up this thread and you have finally arrived in the dungeon of the haunted castle. Rolling beats squeeze the last of the blood out of your veins and the game with the thought of eternity is played out to the lethal end. Death is, of course, a part of eternity - curse or blessing? The Grab Society gehen auf ihrer aktuellen Single "Eternal (Ewig)" eine unheilige Allianz mit der Sängerin Annabelle ein. Deren charismatische Stimme beschwört eine wahrhaft gruselige Atmosphäre herauf. Die Künstlerin changiert dabei zwischen dem markerschütternden Charisma einer Nina Hagen und einer glamourösen 20er/30er Jahre Stimmung im Geiste von "Babylon Berlin". Im Zusammenspiel mit den Rezitativ-Parts von Manfred Thomaser und Ulf Müller entsteht ein ganz eigenes, faszinierendes Gebräu.

"Eternal" erfährt nun eine Remix-Fortsetzung. Dabei geht es passend zum vampiralen Thema hinab in die dunklen, schummrigen Clubs. Den sanft bewegten Einstieg markiert die Bearbeitung von FragileChild bevor Oren Amram in seiner Dance-Version gehörig an der Beat-Schraube dreht. Im Remix von Tevalik wird das rhythmische Element noch mehr betont und damit der Trance-Faktor unweigerlich erhöht. Danach ist es kaum verwunderlich, dass im Annabelle-Remix der Schwerpunkt auf den Stimmdarbietungen liegt. In Kombination mit den etwas hektischen Sounds entsteht ein geradezu irrer, beängstigender Eindruck. Diesen Faden nimmt der abschließende Un(d)AbtanzBAR Mix gekonnt auf und man ist endgültig im Kerker des Spukschlosses angekommen. Sich überschlagende Beats quetschen das letzte Blut aus den Adern und das Spiel mit dem Gedanken an die Ewigkeit wird bis zum letalen Ende ausgereizt. Steve Baltes, impassioned electronic musician, pioneer of trance music, DJ, producer and composer with multiple releases under his belt (including Top Ten entries in the German Alternative Charts with his Arctic Sunrise project, in addition to albums with Stefan Erbe and Harald Großkopf), veteran of international performances as musician for the iconic Krautrock band ASHRA (with legend, Manuel Göttsching, and Harald Großkopf) on their Japan tour, as well as of numerous DJ and live sets with Deep Voices in the USA, was inspired by Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Ultravox and Heaven 17.

Lucian Zäyn, multilingual singer/songwriter late of diverse projects and releases, such as Exogen (PostPunk – two albums, festival gigs) and Ten to Fall (electronica/percussion fusion live band) and multimedia performance artist, writes songs in 11 languages and gives rein to his deep fascination with Yellow Magic Orchestra, Kate Bush, Japan, David Bowie, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Thomas Dolby,
Roxy Music and Magazine in his music.

These two artists are united by a shared love for vibrant cultural phenomena such as animé, manga, kaiju eiga (e.g. Godzilla films), and the science fiction and horror genres, which they now celebrate together in their BALTES & ZÄYN project.

Baltes deploys his impressive panoply of sound and production technology encompassing both recherché vintage synthesizers and state-of-the-art equipment and software. Zäyn provides the spark of his extravagant vocal stylings, exotic tech-noir poesy and adventurous melodic flair. With their first album, BLUE SUNSET, BALTES & ZÄYN blaze a trail to new horizons! BLUE SUNSET features a breathtaking range of visionary songs which tell rapturous stories of the worlds of the iconic Neon Genesis: Evangelion animé series, the electrifying Lovecraft Country HBO TV series, and H. Just in time for their 10th anniversary and after a creative break, the synthpop duo ARCTIC SUNRISE are making an impressive return. With their new single “Feelings Changing Hands”, Torsten Verlinden (vocals) and Steve Baltes (electronics, production) build on their successful releases and present a captivating mix of melancholy and driving beats.

Since their formation in 2015, ARCTIC SUNRISE have made a lasting impact on the international synthpop scene with three world-renowned studio albums. Their songs are still featured in playlists around the globe, while both their albums and singles have reached top positions in independent charts such as the DAC. They have also been regularly featured in renowned magazines such as Orkus and Sonic Seducer.

The duo from Mönchengladbach is known for its characteristic sound, characterized by a love of the synthetic soundscapes of the 80s. Dear friends of avant-garde electronic reading performances!

It has indeed been quiet around us again for a while. This was due to the fact that we were still very busy in our private lives, made plans for our future work and played a few more gigs in 2024. Our health, jobs and families also kept slowing us down!

But now we're moving forward again!

We are planning our new digital album ‘!SoVaD!’ for the end of the year and our first single release ‘FronTal'24’ is scheduled for April! We've come up with something else for the new single release, true to the motto: ‘Don't just talk, do it!’! But more about that in due course...

In der Tat war es erneut längere Zeit ruhiger um uns herum. Dies lag daran, dass wir immer noch privat sehr eingespannt waren, Planungen über unser zukünftiges Schaffen geführt haben und in 2024 noch einige Gigs gespielt hatten. Auch unsere Gesundheit, Jobs und Familien haben uns immer wieder ausgebremst!

Aber jetzt geht's wieder voran!

Wir planen unser neues Digital-Album "!SoVaD!" für Ende des Jahres und unsere erst Singleauskopplung "FronTal'24" ist für den April terminiert! Für die neue Single-VÖ haben wir uns noch etwas ausgedacht, getreu nach dem Motto: "Nicht labern sondern machen!"! Dazu aber zu gegebener Zeit mehr...

Following the release of the new album ‘Tranceforming’ and four singles with accompanying videos at the end of last year, ‘Rúnir’ is the fifth single release from German folk metal band THANATEROS.

After the last two, rather quieter, balladic releases, THANATEROS really let it rip again with ‘Rúnir’. After a mystical, dark beginning, the song quickly builds up to a catchy, driving rock song.

As the name suggests, this time the band takes on the runes. According to Norse mythology, the runes were conceived by the All-father Odin / Wotan and were used for magical and divinatory purposes. The oldest series of runes, the so-called ‘older Futhark’, comprises 24 runes, which are described by THANATEROS in the song.

Our knowledge of the runes is based on a number of runic songs and poems, such as the Icelandic Rune Song. To give the powerful piece a special touch, singer and songwriter Ben sings the chorus in Icelandic, which gives the song an additional ‘magical’ component.
