We are pleased to share a short video of Heaven‘s Gate, performed by the Anima Trombone Quartet(@animaquartet), who took first place in the 1st LITTIN Competition!
This piece is very special and meaningful to us. Heaven’s Gate was composed specifically for the LITTIN Competition, and it was first performed by the participants on the day of the the semifinal round, September 27. Many participants mentioned that Heaven‘s Gate was a highly challenging and demanding piece to perform. This complex work, spanning over 10 minutes, set a new standard for all the performers.
𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑎𝑛 𝐿𝑖𝑛𝑑𝑏𝑒𝑟𝑔(@arabennelindberg) the composer of this piece, shared his admiration for their performance: ”I am overwhelmed by the fantastic interpretation of my piece by the Anima Trombone Quartet!!! Such amazing virtuosity and artistry. It was SUCH a privilege for me to get this wonderful opportunity.“
We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Christian Lindberg for composing such a beautiful piece and for his exceptional work, as well as to all the participants for their dedication and outstanding performances.
