Our June chameleon #89 comes from Klimbim. They take us through a gritty, analog-leaning journey shaped by 90s textures and a downtempo vibe somewhere between now and then. The set gradually reduces its pace, moving into slower territory without letting go of its groove or forward motion. There’s a rawness to the sound throughout, held together by smooth grooves and a subtle drive that never quite fades away.

Our next compilation ‘Intervals II’ is finally out 🙂‍↕️
We first began planning this project at the beginning of 2025. Since we are neither good with deadlines nor fans of rushing things, it took longer than expected to bring it to the public. We are really pleased with how the flow and overall vibe of the compilation came together. It reflects our vision as a downtempo label and is a genuine selection of what we consider deep music, regardless of trends moving in other directions over the past few years. We hope you feel the same way we do.

Warmest thanks to all the artists included for your patience and for trusting us with the release of your music. Without you, Talpa would be nothing.

Hey friends, we’re back with a lovely release by the incredibly talented .a.s.k.a__ & .uc 🌿
Full release with two originals and a remix by Ektoplast .demonsant out March 12.

LASKÀ & mimikri’s ’Nur Noch Hier’ inhabits the in-between, a space for moments that resist being held and find their weight in their own fleeting nature.

The title track ’Nur Noch Hier’ unfolds like a quiet gaze stretching across dark waters. Deep blue expanses wash over a steady, sustaining pulse, somewhere between now and never, where linear time begins to lose its meaning. Presence gathers gently here, not as a standstill but as a conscious lingering, a willingness to remain within the flow a little longer. Only us, only now, only here.

Opening into ’Zwischenklang’, the feeling shifts. Something surfaces, almost weightless, like dawn touching open water. Language recedes as perception takes over. Meaning emerges through resonance rather than definition, in the subtle vibration where something begins without needing to be named. It is a passing state, perhaps, yet one that quietly endures, a gentle invitation to remain adrift, attentive to what exists for a moment before disappearing again.
