Our buddy is currently touring around UK/EU and is swinging by Frankfurt so we are delighted to announce we will be setting up the decks at Orange Beach for a groovy sundowner, he‘ll be playing a 45s set from his eclectic collection joined by a few local heroes.

Los Angeles based experimental producer Al Lover, a staple on the global psychedelic scene, has spent nearly a decade fine-tuning a broken, abstracted form of electronica that pools together a tapestry of trip-hop, world music, sythesised krautrock, dub and dark ambient. Central to Lover’s pursuit is a desire to explore the fringes of psychedelic music and the common threads that run through its far-reaching styles, drawing elements from the past and connecting them to the future.

Through the years Al has released a number of studio albums, toured the US and Europe supporting the likes of W.I.T.C.H, Night Beats, The KVB, Kerala Dust, Christian Bland & The Revelators and more, remixed the likes of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Elephant Stone, been resident DJ for the Levitation and Desert Daze festivals and collaborated with the likes of GOAT, Anton Newcombe, Peaking Lights, The KVB, White Fence and Cairo Liberation Front.

Forming in 2016 and captivating audiences with their bombastic soundscapes that convey one to other worldly spheres, lilting, sacred and yet still an ascendency to a heavier fuzz. Jakob, Samba, Béla, & Max hailing from Darmstadt released much anticipated self-titled album on records in May 2023.
The album is loaded with cross-references of Krautrock legends as well as modern heavy psych but is it’s own creature with unprecedented details and yet while being an instrumental album it is full-bodied and sticks in your mind. We first saw the young band at a festival in 2022 and we are thrilled to have them join The UP CLUB alumni.

Cosmic Desire was in fact a mind-blowing event! Where to even begin! put on a helluva show and our international guest DJs & Steve Bowstead were fu***ng phenomenal! Residents & Konrad and mistress of ceremonies are so so delighted to see the whole club vibrating and it's an honour to host you all! Special mention to Michael, Jojo & Stephan our founding brothers for making it a full circle reunion. To our new UP CLUB family members we hope to see you again and all our travelling party people thanks for your support! Last and not least Chris, Sophia, Timo team for taking care!
