Ist das Kunst oder kann das weg? Das kann definitiv bleiben! 😍 Die imposante Skulptur von Julius von Bismarck mit dem Titel „The First, the Last ,Eternity“ ist ein echter Hingucker in luftiger Höhe der Check-In-Halle im Terminal 3. 😮 Die drei ringförmigen Skulpturen mit einem Durchmesser von 3, 5 und 7m bestehen aus insgesamt 636 einzelnen eingefärbten Aluminiumscheiben, die sich permanent drehen und somit die Wahrnehmung der Installation ständig verändert. Die begrenzte Vorstellungskraft der Menschen und die Verschiebung der Grenzen wird dabei thematisiert: „Was einst als verrückte Theorie erschien, ist nun fester Bestandteil von dem, was wir Realität nennen. Was übrigens auch für das Fliegen gilt.“ (J.v.B.)

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s ‘The First, the Last, Eternity’, an impressive sculpture by Julius von Bismarck. The eye-catcher is installed high up in the check-in hall of Terminal 3. 😮 The three ring-shaped sculptures, with diameters of 3, 5 and 7 metres, consist of a total of 636 individual coloured aluminium discs that rotate continuously, constantly changing the perception of the installation. The limited imagination of humans and the shifting of boundaries are addressed: ‘What once seemed like a crazy theory is now an integral part of what we call reality.
