Looking to refresh your top drawer or spice up your lingerie game? You’re in luck. Vogue has broken down the best lingerie brands that can help you do just that. No matter what you’re looking for, we believe that what you wear underneath your clothes should make you feel just as great as the outfit itself. We also stand by the notion that there is no rule that says you can’t wear your most romantic lace bralette under a pair of sweats and a tee.

Perhaps you’re having a date night at home with your partner, or dressing up for something special. Or maybe you just like to roam around your flat in nothing but a great un**es. Whatever the occasion, great lingerie is a rewarding find.

You may not have considered lingerie as an investment purchase before, but it’s just as important as say, a basic white T-shirt or a sturdy pair of shoes. Think about it: you want underwear that’ll provide a foundation for any outfit, lasting for years to come – so it’s essential that you track down something you love.

Small start-ups and e-commerce sites are challenging what lingerie should look and feel like in this day and age. And if you’re looking to shop small, or more sustainably (or both), there are options for that, too. We’ve rounded up all our favourite makers of bras, bralettes and briefs in Vogue’s ultimate guide to the best lingerie brands, below.

If there is a woman in fashion who embodies all that a Pucci print evokes – perpetual modernity, Euro chic, absolute joy – it is Camille Miceli, a defiantly ageless 50-year-old Franco-Italian Parisienne, who, in her 35-year career, has worked side by side with – get this – Azzedine Alaïa, Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, John Galliano, Raf Simons and Nicolas Ghesquière.

Last summer, the powers that be at LVMH – namely chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault; his daughter Delphine Arnault, board member and executive vice president of Louis Vuitton; and LVMH Fashion Group chairman and CEO Sidney Toledano – made the judicious decision to hire Miceli as artistic director of Emilio Pucci. “Camille was considered for Pucci for her creative qualities, her vision and her ability to inspire her team,” Delphine Arnault writes in an email. “I always thought she would be an ideal candidate to lead a house creatively at some point. And when the opportunity of Pucci presented itself, it felt so in line with who she is, this joyful, colourful person, that it only seemed like a perfect match.”

Miceli’s first capsule collection for the Milan-based brand was unveiled on 28 April in an “experience”, as Miceli describes it, on Capri, the Italian island where the company’s founder, Emilio Pucci, Marquis of Barsento, opened the first Pucci boutique in 1951. Today, 29 April, it has pre-launched exclusively on Mytheresa.

When it comes to polarising pieces that affront the opposite s*x, the main offenders in my wardrobe are surprising. Two Junya Watanabe T-shirts, one red, one navy, both varsity inspired, bearing the crests of two fictitious sporting clubs. The offensive bit? They both feature subtle shoulder pads, meaning that when they are left out to dry post-washing, they do so slower than everything else. When my boyfriend is on domestic duties – in his meditative folding phase, intent on making sure a whole cycle of clean washing enters our wardrobes all at once – he’ll often, despairingly, question the necessity of the internal workings of my team-inspired tees. “Obviously, the shoulder pads are subtle symbols of the protective gear of American football shirts,” I retort with an eye roll.

Kylie Jenner is now officially the proud owner of one of the most sought-after accessories in the fashion industry: the Heven X Coperni devil glass handbag. Ahead of a day of press for the Kardashians’ upcoming Hulu TV show, Kylie took to Instagram to unveil her latest fashion score. Naturally, it went down a treat online. “Kylie Jenner with the new Coperni bag is too much for me to handle today,” tweeted fashion researcher, Kim Russell.

The mother-of-two kept the rest of her outfit relatively simple, allowing the hero item to take centre stage. She stuck to an all white palette, including a custom-made tailored jacket and waxed cotton trousers, fashioned by former Central Saint Martins student and Serbian-born designer, Isidora Djurovic. The beauty mogul chose a pair of head-turning zip-detailed heels by Coperni to finish off her business-chic outfit, but ultimately it was her bag (stuffed with Kylie Cosmetics lip glosses, FYI) that stole the show.

Congratulations are in order for Britney Spears, who announced last night that she is pregnant with her third child. The legendary pop singer confirmed the news via an Instagram post, explaining that she made the discovery while on holiday in Maui with her fiancé, the personal trainer and actor Sam Asghari.

“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back,” she wrote, with the help of plenty of her signature emojis. “I thought, ‘Geez, what happened to my stomach?’ My husband said, ‘No, you’re food pregnant silly!’ So I got a pregnancy test… and, uh, well… I am having a baby!”

The news was greeted with celebration from her fans, who also noted Spears’s long-held wishes to have a third child (she has two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with her ex-husband, backup dancer Kevin Federline). During the legal battle surrounding her conservatorship last year, from which Spears was ultimately freed, she delivered a heartbreaking testimony that touched on the fact that her conservators refused her requests to have her IUD removed so that she could have a child with Asghari in a chilling indictment of the legal challenges that surround reproductive rights today.

In her Instagram post, Spears also commented on the stigmas surrounding perinatal depression, from which she suffered during her first two pregnancies, and noted that she was glad that “now women talk about it every day,” and added: “Thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret.”

But most of all, Spears’s post was one of happiness and positivity, keeping with the new lease of life she’s found since her 13-year-long conservatorship was ended in November of last year. “This time I will be doing yoga every day!” Spears added, before signing off with: “Spreading lots of joy and love.” You can be sure her friends and fans will be sending all that love right back.

You know there’s something in the air when three stylish women, decades apart in age, wear the same piece on the same night. The humble white shirt was given a whole new look at the Oscars, with Uma Thurman channelling her Pulp Fiction character Mia Wallace in a white Bottega Veneta shirt, Gen-Z fashion plate Zendaya alluding to Sharon Stone’s Oscars 1998 look, and red carpet rule-breaker Kristen Stewart turning to Chanel for a sheer button-up, which she paired with a short-shorts suit.

Designers have reimagined white shirts every which way, from spliced and ruched to deconstructed and decorated, but nothing beats a classic silhouette in cotton poplin or silk. All eyes were on elevated basics at the autumn/winter 2022 shows, where white shirting stood out for its powerful simplicity. (Another foundational staple, the trusty white tank top, was also a seasonal hit).

Alaïa’s creative director Pieter Mulier teamed white shirting with a polo-neck and ruffled flared jeans for a contemporary take on the age-old jeans-and-shirt combo. Sexier styles came courtesy of Balmain, where shirts were undone to show décolletage, and Peter Do, where one model wore a completely unbuttoned shirt with cigarette trousers and a stitched coat.

Nicholas Ghesquière and Alessandro Michele celebrated the collegiate connotations of the white shirt. The former styled white shirts with slouchy trousers and sprightly floral ties worn loosely at the neck for Louis Vuitton. The latter teamed pristine white shirts with skinny leather ties, oversized blazers and shiny skirts at Gucci.

White shirts provide blank canvases upon which to layer prints and embellishment, as seen at Erdem, Ports 1961 and Christian Dior. For elegant minimalism, look to The Row, which featured timeless white shirts layered gracefully over colourful knits and coats. Keen to stand out from the crowd? Lucie and Luke Meier of Jil Sander showed a shirt with serious big collar energy for autumn/winter 2022.

Every fashion week without fail, a handful of buzzy items come to overshadow the rest. You know the sort: they’re the pieces that make an entire front row raise its iPhones in salute, and moments later, populate every inch of your social media feed. For spring/summer 2022, alongside a certain Miu Miu set (you know the one), Prada’s satin mini skirt was undoubtedly one of these stand-out pieces.

Making a clean break from the midi and maxi lengths that have dominated in recent years, this dramatic, train-clad mini instantly caught the imagination of the fashion crowd. Rendered in luxe satin in shades of pink, yellow, black, brown, navy and orange, the skirt was styled on the runway with nonchalant knits, tough leather jackets and crisp shirting – the perfect encapsulation of the contemporary femininity that has come from Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons’s creative collaboration.

If, like us, you fell head-over-heels for this perfect Prada piece, you’ll be happy to hear that it is now officially available to buy online. Prada’s runway looks provide plenty of styling inspiration, but our favourite pairing has to be the mini paired with a boxy leather biker, white T-shirt and pointed heels. The ultimate high-low pairing for a spring cocktail party. Scroll down to see and shop Prada's cult mini skirt – it’s unlikely to stick around for too long.

The year 1969 was a momentous one for Omega. The Swiss watchmaker went out of this world on not one, but two historic adventures. First, an Omega Speedmaster was on the wrist of Buzz Aldrin when he became the second man to step onto the moon. Then, the brand commissioned Andrew Grima, London’s Swinging Sixties jeweller to the stars and the royal family, to create About Time, a collection of one-of-a-kind watches that was unlike anything the world had seen before or has seen since.

The Swiss watch industry isn’t generally known for its far-out thinking and it took two foreigners to bring about the landmark collaboration. Robert Forster, Omega’s director of production at the time, was an American who wanted to bring the brand to the attention of a wider audience, beyond the tool watches it was famous for. “He wasn’t your typical watch-making guy, he knew how to elevate watches and make them universally appealing,” says Petros Protopapas, Omega’s head of brand heritage.
Even more radical than that, he had precious and semiprecious coloured gemstones cut in the German town of Idar-Oberstein, so that the time was read through the jewel itself. Omega has been making women’s watches for more than 173 years but to Protopapas, the Grima collaboration was the most groundbreaking of them all. “The company sent watches to the moon, and with Grima, whose mind wasn’t from this world, it brought the space age to watch design.”

John Boyega has his older sister to thank for his first pair of Converse. “There was a nice moment when we were both a size seven,” shares the Star Wars actor of the high-tops he inherited as a teen. “From then on, I’ve always been rocking them and following the culture.” His latest dalliance with the all-star brand does not involve lace-ups, but instead sees the Peckham-born creative helping to nurture and mentor fellow film enthusiasts who, like him, found it difficult to break into a competitive industry.

“I wish I’d had this whole process to be honest,” he says of the Converse-backed Create Next Film Project, which this year fosters the work of five Black filmmakers from London. “When I first came into this industry, I tried to get funding from the Prince’s Trust, to go through extra-curricular activities, the National Theatre… I wish there had been a brand that everybody knows that was willing to use their influence, their platform and their finances to fund creativity.”

As part of the community-focused project, budding cinephiles Ade Femzo, Kaylen Francis, Kemi Anna Adeeko, Lorraine Khamali and Ibrahim Muhammad are receiving funding to make a five-minute short film, as well as guidance throughout the six-month process. The end result is not just a jazzy premiere; Boyega has high hopes for these bright young things. “I want to be able to go into the industry and [work with] individuals who I helped.” He likens any film shoot to a small town, with cinematographers, costumiers, caterers and a long line of other specialists who all pull together to make something greater than the sum of their parts. “The long-term goal is to see these young individual filmmakers find their place in that,” adds Boyega.

Dior представил капсулу в оттенках золота и серебра
В нее вошла обновленная сумка Lady Dior
