Klasse Interview, klasse neue OxFanzine-Ausgabe, achja und das wir THE HEADLINES klasse finden, erwähnen wir nur am Rande🤪

Bereits neunmal wurde das Punk-Quintett aus Malmö im Ox rezensiert, doch ein Interview mit der seit 2005 aktiven Band hat es bei uns bis jetzt nicht gegeben. Dem war nun wirklich Abhilfe zu schaffen, weil diese Band seit nunmehr fast zwei Dekaden ihre Spuren hinterlässt und die Reaktionen der Anhänger:innen und Presse durchweg positiv sind. Sängerin Kerry Bomb hilft uns in vielerlei Hinsicht nun weiter. Und das neue Album „Homewrecker“ wird die Fanbase von THE HEADLINES mit Sicherheit noch deutlich erweitern. Außerdem gibt’s in Ox Nr. 176 auf 164 Seiten Interviews mit Amyl and The Sniffers, Jello Biafra, Cosmic Psychos, Gewalt Band, Lyschko, Wick Bambix, Pointed Sticks, Tommy and the Teleboys und vieles mehr.

Das Leben könnte manchmal so einfach sein, wenn man einfach mal einen Schritt aufeinander zugeht, um den Anderen zu verstehen.

Tja, was sollen wir sagen? Unsere Freunde von den Dead Dates hauen ne Platte raus, die auf alle aktuellen Entwicklungen im deutschen Punksektor aber sowas von pfeifft und treffen damit genau ins Schwarze!

„Lang genug gewartet“ ist einfach zeitlos, macht Spass von Anfang bis Ende und genau deswegen grossartig.
Vinylfarben nähern sich langsam dem Ende zu…

Morgen ist es endlich soweit:
Die neue Scheibe „Homewrecker“ von THE HEADLINES erscheint.

Es bedeutet uns wirklich viel diese grossartige Band in unserer Label-Family zu haben…sowohl menschlich als auch musikalisch!

Wieviel Arbeit, aufopferungsvolle Kreativität, Energie und ja auch Kohle in diesem Album steckt, kann man selbst hinter den Kulissen nur schwer beziffern, aber wenigstens mit jeder Note raushören!

Für uns ist „Homewrecker“ definitiv eine der besten punkigen Rockscheiben des Jahres und wir sind echt gespannt auf Eure Reaktionen.

Ab heute ist die Band auf Tour damit und wir freuen uns Sonntag in unserem Wohnzimmer Don't Panic darauf anzustossen.

We proudly presents Scandal - streetpunk’98, a street-punk band hailing since 2016 from South London, UK and formed in 1998 with deep roots in the Romanian punk & Oi! scene.

After serveral releases and new songs on "a handful of Punk & Oi! Vol.2" now´s the time for their new album:

*Some Still Dance* features 14 great tracks and explores a range of themes from partying, subcultural life and having fun to tackling social issues.

Recorded at Perry Vale Studios in London, this album is dedicated to „Scandal“´s beloved producer Pat Collier, who sadly passed away this summer.

First Vinyl pressing with 333 copies in 3 different colors now available for pre-order! (Street date 18.10.)
