Heute wäre ich auf Tour gestartet. Doch wie viele andere Konzerte+Veranstaltungen wurde diese kurzfristig abgesagt. 🚫

Viele Künstler+Selbständige verlieren wieder einmal ihren umsatzstärksten Monat, der so wichtig ist, um überhaupt auf ein halbwegs angemessenes Jahreseinkommen zu kommen. Ich selbst bin DIREKT davon abhängig, denn wenn keine Konzerte stattfinden werden keine FOH-Ingenieure gebraucht, keine Künstlergagen generiert, fehlt das Geld für die nächste Albumproduktion usw. Auch andere Projekte wurden wegen der Beschränkungen ersatzlos abgesagt. Es geht hier nicht um Jammern, sondern einen Einblick in die Realität des Großteils der Kulturbranche.

Daher bitte ich euch: Unterstützt lokale Künstler, Selbständige, Veranstaltungsleute. Kauft CD+Merch DIREKT von ihnen (nein, an Spotify+YouTube verdient man nichts!).
Ich biete wieder Gutscheine an, z.B. für die nächste Album- oder Videoproduktion. DANKE fürs Lesen und ein schöne Adventszeit euch!

Endlich wieder große Bühne 💪🏻

Zwei Konzerte liegen hinter uns und wir sind immer noch selig ob der vielen tollen Erinnerungen, die wir mitnehmen werden.

In Biberach grüßen wir die Kulturhalle Abdera sowie Rainer und Reinhardt mitsamt ihren Clans. Selten sind wir so gut aufgenommen worden. RoxYgene waren ein ebenfalls gelungener Auftakt mit tollen Musikern und verdammt netten Leutschings.

Am Samstag ging es dann nach Regensburg, wo uns Freddy von der Piratenhöhle Regensburg rangeholt und auf das Herzlichste betreut hat. Gemeinsam wurde die Bühne mit Vera Lux, Visionatica und Enemy Inside zerträllert. Großes Kino! :D

Radio No Rest war auch vor Ort und hat uns geistreiche Löcher in den Bauch gefragt. Hört rein! Es lohnt sich! \m/

Der letzte Dank geht an das tolle Publikum, welches kräftig Lärm gemacht hat! So macht das Laune! Rock'n Roll! :D

Vielen Dank auch an Hendrik, der unter Einsatz seines Lebens dieses Foto hier angefertigt hat. ;) :D

Gear update No.3 🎛
This one is actually not for the gear nerds, but I simply love the equilibrium that little guy brings to my mixing room. 😌 Do you have some special room items that make you feel comfortable during work? Really curious!

Gear update No.2 🎛
Although I already have plenty of analogue and digital preamp options, I wanted to create a simple but excellent (not only) vocal preamp option. API 500 modules were a smart choice so this chain can be used on the road with a blink of an eye. The 511 sounds incredible with the necessary flexibility for different sources. And the deesser module tames some harsh frequencies with problematic voice-mic combinations. All together mounted in a lunchbox.👌🏻

Gear update No.1 🎛
During the last months I constantly upgraded my studio & live gear. I‘ll introduce them in a row of posts in the next days.
First is the amazing Fusion. An analogue mastering processor which really fits my hybrid mastering approach. If you want to hear it in action have a listen to the latest album ‚Sincerely‘. 🎧
