According to insiders who spoke to Rolling Stone, The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie) was planning to part ways with Bad Boy Records before his tragic death‼️

His lawyers were embroiled in a heated legal battle with Sean "Diddy" Combs to regain control over his publishing rights. Sources close to Biggie revealed that he had grown increasingly frustrated with Combs and sought greater creative control over his career.

"Biggie was absolutely about to leave Puff. I know for a fact because he told me that," said photographer Monique Bunn, a close friend of Biggie's.

"Everybody wanted to leave Puffy. Everybody leaves him," added another insider.

This discontent was exacerbated by the legal disputes over Biggie's publishing rights, which his attorneys were fighting to reclaim from Combs, further straining their relationship. Belafonte was best known for his hit songs, including "The Banana Boat Song" and "Jump in the Line," but his activism was equally important.

He used his celebrity status to advocate for social justice and civil rights and worked closely with Dr. Jr. Belafonte was also a UNICEF goodwill ambassador and focused on humanitarian efforts, including supporting programs that provided education and healthcare to underserved communities.
