As a testament to the enduring appeal of ifsonever's work, four talented remix artists have skillfully reimagined his tracks, invigorating the sonic landscapes he initially created. These remixes offer a thrilling departure from the tranquil ambient style of the original tracks, taking a more progressive, club-oriented direction.

The cover artwork, a collaboration between Jazz & Milk graphic designer Tim Schmitt and photographer Frank Hulsbömer, visually encapsulates the otherworldly atmosphere of the music, making this release a multi-sensory journey.

Sábado is a funk ridden and electrified future jazz-fizz, a homage to the frenetic city of São Paulo where Caixa Cubo met and fermented together. Featuring long time collaborator and vocalist Zé Leônidas, who delivers a fiery flow, with vocals dancing around the Airto inspired groove, with cuicas, tamborim, agogo and shakers providing the most obvious Brazilian affect from the new album Agôra!

The past decade has seen Bavaria born Vienna based artist Sam Irl deliver his signature soul infused twist on contemporary house via the likes of Jimpster‘s Freerange Records, S3A‘s Sampling As An Art Records,
SlothBoogie, Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood and of course Jazz & Milk which has become a staple home for his productions since debuting on the label in 2012. Here Sam offers up the ‘Donau’ EP, the title of which references his growing up in rural Lower Bavaria as well living in Vienna for almost two decades, both of which are located on the Danube River.

This colorful debut-album draws a blueprint of an urban ambient club record of a parallel universe. A collage of beautifully improvised pieces, strictly recorded in “one takes”. A gripping fusion that brings together the warm analog textures of classic vintage synthesizers and electronic urban ambiences.

Trying to appreciate the recent times of silence and deceleration, Daniel Helmer aka ifsonever (Björn Hawaii) has quickly developed a tonal language as a solo artist. With a non-compromising approach he would visit his studio, a cozy garden shed, to record one new track a day in strictly analog fashion as “one takes”. His aim for this project was to capture the innocence and instinctive creative energy of the present moment.

The cover artwork is a collaboration between Jazz & Milk graphic designer Tim Schmitt and photographer Frank Hülsbömer. A scan of the artist's head, hand and foot was 3D printed, photographed and transformed into an otherworldly scenery that visualizes the musical atmosphere.

„Total Global“ is the second single by ifsonever, taken from the debut album, out Oct 28 on Jazz & Milk. Daniel Helmer aka ifsonever resides in Vienna where he studied at the local film academy. He became one of the founding members of the techno-punk band Gudrun von Laxenburg with album releases on the legendary Skint Records label, collaborated with Sam Irl on “International Major Label” as the production duo Mantra Mantra and released an album as “Yogtze” on Gerd Janson's imprint “Running Back Incantations”, together with Feater. His debut album is a collage of beautifully improvised pieces, strictly recorded in „one takes“. A gripping fusion that brings together the warm analog textures of classic vintage synthesizers and electronic urban ambiences.

We were impressed by his unique sound, recording and producing electronic music in an analog "one-take" manner, mixing ambient soundscapes with subtle club-oriented elements.
