2nd band for CRAWLING CHAOS LIVE II: DEVIL'S HOUR.

We have already released an EP and 2 singles as well as various shirts onto the world for the black punks from DEVIL'S HOUR. Now the boys want to storm Troisdorf again in November AND have their new album in their luggage...

We can't say the final word yet, the boys are in the studio. But it smells like a release party on November 16th. Is that cool or what?

CARADRAS

As the first band for our second live attack we would like to present to you our friends from Caradras. Met at our release party with WRACK in He***te 2023, a friendship quickly developed which culminated in the re-release of their album SCHATTENKÖNIGE on vinyl at the beginning of the year. We are very happy that you will be the opener for us this evening.

Next week there will be the second band. The headliner will then be announced after our Norway vacation in mid-August.

Some people may have asked themselves what I actually do in my private life besides CRAWLING CHAOS? So today a post on my own behalf because today is an important day for me.

After the birth of my daughter in 2021, after almost 15 years and 1.5 years of parental leave, I decided to quit my old company. CC is not enough to live from, so I've always worked full-time on the side. After a few months of uncertainty, I decided to make a career change at the beginning of the year as a camera and sound technician in half-time for a venerable rental company in Cologne, my hometown.

Today is the first day after my probationary period and I am very, very happy. The beer here is not my usual kind but it comes at the expense of my work and it symbolizes freedom. CRAWLING CHAOS is turning 10 this year and 2024 is a turning point for me and my family in many ways. Since the beginning of the year the label has officially been a full-fledged business (formerly a small business) and it looks like we will be releasing more this year than ever before in one year. That and the chance to permanently establish CRAWLING CHAOS LIVE as a permanent institution would not have been possible without you supporters out there. My thanks also go out to you!!!!! but I digress: CHEERS!!! (or *ping as a good buddy would say ^^)

HEUTE vor 15 Jahren – am 26. Juni 2009 – ist unser Debüt „entfremdet“ erschienen. Zur Feier des Tages gibt es nun alle Details zu unserer nächsten Veröffentlichung: Am 29. November 2024 erscheint via Crawling Chaos ein Jubiläums-Remake des Albums.

War die Urversion als Do-it-Yourself-Release innerhalb nur weniger Tage aufgenommen und in Eigenregie gemischt worden, haben wir für die neue Fassung weder Kosten noch Mühen gescheut: Alle acht Stücke wurden kompositorisch überarbeitet, komplett neu eingespielt und erstmalig professionell produziert. Das Schlagzeug wurde wieder bei Christoph Brandes in den Iguana Studios aufgenommen, für Mix und Master arbeiten wir abermals mit V. Santura zusammen, der bereits „ephemer“ produziert hat. So werden die Stücke 15 Jahre nach ihrer Erstveröffentlichung erstmalig zu hören sein, wie sie gedacht waren.

Abgerundet wird das Re-Make durch eine neue Version des Cover-Artworks, das näher am originalen Gemälde von Alexandra Lotter gehalten ist als die ursprüngliche Version und die Emotionen in Bild und Musik noch stärker zum Ausdruck bringt (Foto: Afra Catha Rina)
