Out TODAY! Sweet Release is the highly anticipated second album from Justin Adams and Mauro Durante, following their acclaimed debut Still Moving (2021). After three years on tour, the duo has honed their collaboration into something truly special. The album draws from Durante’s roots in taranta music while incorporating elements of raw rockabilly, minimalism, and Sufi-inspired rhythms. Themes of healing and catharsis are at the heart of Sweet Release, with tracks recorded live to capture the duo’s natural, intuitive synergy.

Adams and Durante are known for their ability to merge global influences into a seamless and unique sound. Adams’ raw, blues-driven guitar style - shaped by punk and the Middle East - meets Durante’s deep connection to the fiery, trance - like pizzica tradition of Southern Italy. Together, they craft music that is both ancient and modern, balancing gritty energy with emotional depth.
