Underrated, misunderstood, but still a Ferrari through and through… 🙌🏽 | Original Content

At the ‘73 Paris Motor Show, Ferrari shook things up by debuting the Dino 308 GT4—and wow did it stir the pot. 🍵 The first production Ferrari with a V8 engine, but wait, there’s more: the bold design came from Marcello Gandini of Bertone. The angular look? A shocker for fans used to the curvy lines of the 246 GT. It was giving Lancia Stratos mixed with Lamborghini Urraco vibes. 🙌🏽

Under the hood, however, it was pure Ferrari DNA. The 2.9L V8 roared with 255 HP, becoming a staple in many future models. Yet, the badge confusion (Dino or Ferrari?) and the oil crisis made sales slow... until it rebranded as a Ferrari in ‘76….

👉🏽A black Ferrari Testarossa is special for several reasons. Firstly, the Testarossa is an iconic model from Ferrari, produced from the mid-eighties to the mid-nineties. Its name, which means “redhead” in Italian, originally referred to the red-painted cam covers of the engine. The car’s design by Pininfarina is striking, characterized by its wide stance, side strakes, and pop-up headlights. The black color adds a layer of mystery and elegance, making the car look even more aggressive and sleek. This car was photographed in one of many brutalist buildings of Berlin, matching the essence with the Testa.✨🙌🏽
