Art Bei Ton
Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, through the promotion of events, podcast series, and a label. Organizing events in Berlin and Europe, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances,
panels and workshops.
Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, q***r actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.
Since its creation in 2018, Art Bei Ton took place in various great venues. Starting in Berlin at notorious clubs, such as Griessmühle, ://About Blank or Su***de Circus, we also organized some events abroad, like in Paris at La Station, in Istanbul at Temple, in Amsterdam at Red Light Radio, or in Poland at Schron.
Through those various events, we were very happy to collaborate with great artists, such as Dasha Rush, Electric Indigo, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Joachim Spieth, Aleja Sanchez, Paula Koski, Mary Yuzovskaya, and many more.

With almost a decade of honing his craft in the studio, Midnight Traffic’s catalog comprises several notable EPs on India-based Qilla Records, an EP on Italian label The God’s Planet, a collaborative EP with Qilla Records founder, Kohra on Berlin-based Charybdis Records, along with several independent releases on Bandcamp as well.
As a DJ, Midnight Traffic’s sets tend to lean towards the more fast-paced, hypnotic end of the spectrum, with the intention of creating a cohesive sonic journey that transports listeners to the nth dimension. For the 119th episode of our podcast series, we're thrilled to welcome the amazing Japanese artist: DJ YAZI.
His set, created as a deep introspective sonic journey, takes the listener through different energy levels, from nostalgic sounds to more uplifting vibes. His unique mix of hypnotic grooves and trippy elements really showcases his great sense of storytelling.
DJ Yazi is an original member and DJ of "Think Tank," a group of menacing black smoke collective that continues to pour out high-purity deep trip music, and the resident DJ of El Nino, the organizer of "Black Smoker Records”. He is a man who is trusted for his ability to manipulate a variety of genres and color the floor with his own unique style. He hosts the techno/industrial-based event "Konvektion" with Takaaki Itoh.
He has also provided mixes for world-class platforms such as Bassiani, Dimensions, CrackMagazine, and Dekmantel.
With a strong focus on the scene, he has been expanding his activities not only in Japan but also in Europe and internationally, and has been shaking up various late nights with beautiful colors in the twilight of the night.

Kai Galactic is Techno DJ in Tokyo.He learns under the influence of father about Galaxy for the childhood period, and it becomes the reason of DJ name and his DJ play. He met Techno music for school days and started his DJ career in small county town. He moves the base in Tokyo. His DJ style plays deep and tripping Techno and creates story on the floor. Kai Galactic organizes his own Techno party "DAYBREAK". He invited Kangding Ray, Blazej Malinowski, Deepbass. In 2023, he launched "DAYBREAK Recordings", expanding his activities to include releasing his own track and managing his own label.

Art Bei Ton Podcast 115: Fjäder
For the 115th episode of our podcast serie we're happy to welcome Fjäder, who made for us a great old-fashioned techno set with an hypnotic vibe.
Fjäder aka Ida Matsdotter, is a Sweden based artist and producer. Influenced by shamanism, science, astrology and forces of nature, Fjäder has developed a deep hypnotic enthralling sound of her own.
Besides the devotion for the monotone vibe of techno, her palette ranges further. Inspired by the surroundings, she moves between black and doom metal influences to ambient, including features such as poetic elements, vocals and field recordings.
Regardless of genre, it is fascinating the way Fjäder connects nature and technology. How she perceives vibrations in universe and transform them into new soundscapes by playing with frequencies, textures, layers and filters.
Through her music Fjäder creates new dimensions and realities. The listener get caught directly, the mind looses track of time and space, floating around in new directions, but when least expecting it, the listener wakes up from the hypnosis and reaches consciousness.
Expanding the universe of minds, Fjäder also has the gift of reaching out and connect to the listener when playing. Using the glow and passion for music, she creates a unique vibe present throughout her set.
Regardless of style, DJ- or live set, Fjäder clearly shows the musician inside her, always true to her own heart, she pushes herself and reaches new levels by experimenting with filters, energies, atmospheres, moods, genres and temper.
Amazed by vibrations and the broad repertoire, the listener gets caught in motion, trapped and released simultaneously, from beginning until end.

Floating Machine aka Antonio lourenÁo, is a portuguese producer, who's passion for music started from a very young age.
Learned and played regularly instruments like guitar, piano or saxophone and took part in various experimental projects in distinct areas like jazz, funk or reggae.
Influenced by the electronic music magic, he started DJing, exploring all its diversity of influences.
Naturally, this lead to electronic music production, and to exploring these early influences into techno context and also leaning deeply into the palette of ambient experimental sounds
Boom Festival, Modem, Transition, ZNA Gathering, Shankra, are some of the events where Floating Machine has performed.
You can find his music on Circular Limited, Aarden, Secuencias Temporales,Techgnosis, Electrik Dream or is own page at Bandcamp.
Using music to connect and communicate, taking the listener to adventurous and unpredictable aural journeys is what he is intended with his productions and performances.

Andrea Zapata is a producer and DJ based in Lima, Perú. She develops in the deep and hypnotic techno genres as well as experimental and their subgenres.
She always offers an unpredictable ride with a fairly linear rhythm with quirky sounds that create a hypnotic atmosphere along with very subtle changes that manage to bring the listener into a deep journey. She finds inspiration in her feelings and every time she leaves her daily life and manages to have contact with nature.
