'Untamed Spirits: Horses from Around the World' presents the work of award-winning photographer Drew Doggett, whose inspired approach offers a striking perspective on equine beauty.

This curated collection features wild horses from the Camargue, Sable Island, and Iceland, alongside refined portraits of elite dressage, polo, and hunting breeds.

Doggett’s images are both technically precise and visually poetic, capturing the strength, elegance, and presence of his subjects with rare clarity.

The photographs often appear surreal—compositions that feel both intimate and monumental.

With each frame, 'Untamed Spirits' reveals the horse as both icon and individual, rendered in its most captivating form.

New York is so protean and so multiple that no single human chronicler could ever do it justice.

Perhaps only a book such as this one – diverse, shifting, even contradictory – could show the city as it really is, or even come close.

'Big New York' is an intense, multi-layered portrait of the metropolis, brought to life through the eyes of the best photographers of their generation.

Each artist is given their own chapter in this illustrated book, dedicated to them and their unique style.

Born in Passaic, New Jersey, in 1945, Allan Tannenbaum has been photographing since the 1960s.

'Waiting for the Rainbow' offers a rare visual record of everyday life inside one of the world’s most inaccessible nations.

Over nearly a decade and nine trips to North Korea, photographer Xiomara Bender documented its people and routines with sensitivity and restraint.

Her images reveal a society shaped by control yet marked by quiet evolution—moments of intimacy, individuality, and subtle change.

This is not a portrait of a regime, but of people navigating daily life within it.

Paired with concise, reflective texts, 'Waiting for the Rainbow' invites readers to engage with North Korea through the lens of human experience.

'Apollo VII–XVII' is a visual chronicle of one of the most defining undertakings in human history.

Drawing from over 27,000 images in the NASA archives, this volume curates 225 of the most visionary and captivating photographs captured by the astronauts themselves - moments of quiet precision, vast silence, and boundless ambition.

The images, many published here for the first time, offer a perspective both distant and deeply human.

Landscapes not of Earth, frames etched in monochrome dust and brilliant light, these photographs document the intersection of technology, humanity, courage, and the unknown.

Accompanied by rare insights and a foreword by Apollo 7 astronaut Walter Cunningham, 'Apollo VII–XVII' is not only a record of space exploration, but a study of vision and scale—of what it means to look back at Earth from somewhere else.

'Lost in the Beauty of Bad Weather' is a photographic exploration of urban environments transformed by the elements.

French photographer Christophe Jacrot documents cities under rain, snow, and fog—moments typically avoided, yet rendered here with clarity, depth, and quiet intensity.

Focusing on weather not as disruption but as atmosphere, Jacrot captures streets emptied by storm, scenes softened by snowfall, and light refracted through rain.

His images are cinematic in tone, yet distinctly contemporary in their use of color and composition. Figures appear rarely, and when they do, they are reduced to silhouettes or gestures—emphasizing mood over narrative.

With 'Lost in the Beauty of Bad Weather', Jacrot creates a body of work that reflects the stillness and introspection found in nature’s most adverse moments.

Hawaii is a place of extremes, one of the most biodiverse and pristine regions on earth.

Over many years, the well-known German photographer Olaf Heine travelled and documented the wonderful world of Hawaii, creating an impressive photographic oeuvre in the process.

The ocean is omnipresent and the secret architect of Hawaii. Hawaii is about the elemental as well as the spiritual significance of the sea.

The lively, constantly changing, restless waves of the Pacific determine the rhythm of the eight islands and their inhabitants.

About teNeues

teNeues was founded by Dr. Heinz teNeues as a print shop in Krefeld, Germany in 1931 and remains a family-owned company to this day. After the shop was destroyed in World War II, the company was rebuilt in Kempen, 12 km away. Dr. Manfred teNeues, the founder’s oldest son, became managing director in 1951. In the postwar years, the company’s printing business blossomed, which was soon enhanced by initial publishing activities in the areas of artistic prints and wall hangings for schools. The first range of calendars was launched in 1958, while greeting cards supplemented the retail product line. In 1977, the publishing activities were spun off from the print shop and a separate company created: teNeues Verlag (the German word for publishing house). Hendrik teNeues, Dr. Manfred teNeues’ oldest son, advanced the international business, founding the teNeues Publishing Company in New York in 1983. In addition to a diverse range of calendars, a range of paper goods and museum merchandising products was developed. Books were added in 1984, as teNeues became a longtime sales partner of Prestel Verlag and its English-language catalog in North America.

Additional subsidiaries were opened in London (1989) and Paris (1991). In 1995, Sebastian teNeues, Dr. Manfred teNeues’ youngest son, joined the publishing company, becoming managing director and publisher of the calendar product line in 1999. In 2000, the first large-scale teNeues line of books was produced, covering the fields of photography, travel, lifestyle and architecture. A short time later, teNeues branched out into successful corporate publishing titles. teNeues books usually appear in German, English and French, with some titles also appearing in Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Russian. The books are sold in over 70 countries around the world. In late 2014, the calendar publishing business was sold to the Neumann-Wolf Group. After the spin-off, the book publisher became teNeues Media GmbH & Co. KG. Hendrik teNeues remains a publisher and company shareholder.

For many decades, the name teNeues has stood for a high standard of quality. Printing quality, finishing, design and the innovative content from our internationally renowned authors are the guarantors of our successful line of published products. Hendrik teNeues adds, “Other than the quality of our products, international distribution in over 70 countries is the primary basis of our activities.“ For many years, international stars in the world of photography have been a fixture of the teNeues catalog, with names including Elliott Erwitt, Bruce Weber, Michael Poliza, Rankin, Martin Schoeller, Robert Mapplethorpe, Jimmy Nelson, and Tim Walker.

In addition to photography, other catalog highlights include interior design, fashion, art, design, architecture, and automotive. Recently, an ambitious new line of cookbooks was launched. teNeues published books with and about major companies and brands, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Ferrari, Chopard, Cartier, Rimowa, Bogner, Deutsche Post, Swarovski, Estee Lauder and many more.
