I won Dana's new album, Time Out of Mind, just recently and wow it's amazing! I first discovered Dana's work on then a long time ago. And I remember catching Ed's show on Weds back when it was on , just before airing my show. So it's really great to see his new show now on HÖR. Funny how things come full circle. Massive thank you to Dana Ruh and DJ Jus-Ed for having this contest! And thanks to KMA60 for the other 5 records I got that day, this is one of my new favorite record shop! Big cheers

The film noir time period took place around the mid 1900s, around the time of the great Marlene Dietrich & the Femme Fatale era. Film noir films were crime dramas, in black and white. In this episode we listen and interpret an track from 2012 that will hopefully bring you into that world :) This painted such a vivid picture for me, I couldn’t help to interpret it this way.

On his official visit to West Berlin in 1964, insisted on visiting East Berlin on short notice as the first preacher and civil rights activist in the GDR. Here is and the place where the congregation sang in response to his sermon.

This gave me chills as I read the sign and entered the church. And yesterday, I was so awed to see Berlin pay tribute and show up for his cause.

Wish I had followed throughout his career. The more I research about him, the more I see how much of a genius he was. My main connection to him was through and this track. was one of the producers that really challenged my idea of what can be. Everything about his music was different, forward-thinking, imaginative, playful, and raw (AF!). was the alias I connected with most and this record is truely a masterpiece for the mind, body, & imagination.
