9️⃣1️⃣. This life that I’ve been blessed to live is not one that I take for granted. As a little black boy growing up in the South Side of Chicago, making it to 91 wasn’t even a dream because it never seemed possible. But as I stand before you today, I am grateful for every person who lent me a shoulder to stand on…From Count Basie to Nadia Boulanger to Joseph Powe to all of the individuals who told me I was worth another day.
To all-a-y’awl out there, never underestimate the positive impact that you can have on a kid’s life because it may just be the difference between them making it to 19 or 91. Thank you all for the beautiful birthday wishes & I pray that I can continue to pass down what the great’s have given to me!! Keep on keepin’ on…U know I am!

Lo Material -Quadrigales Vocal Quartet.
Four young Cuban women, heiresses of such a varied historical musical legacy, directly influenced by the Cuban Vocal Quartet “Sexto Sentido”, who has guided them since their formation, they have been trained in Cuba's art academies, under the tutelage of important Cuban masters.

The concern for putting into practice the knowledge of harmony, lead them to seek new sounds and colors in the arrangements they perform, for a result that integrates modernity and tradition. Quadrigales seeks the reinterpretation of a characteristic style of the middle of the last century, adding a certain touch of contemporaneity.

The repertoire they defend ranges from the most traditional Cuban to the singers' own compositions, but the distinctive touch is found in the work of the a ca****la ensemble, although we can also enjoy works with instrumental accompaniment. Quadrigales has been a finalist in the "Primera Base" contest of the Havana World Music Festival in the 2020 edition. In June 2021, the University of the Arts, ISA, awarded them a special mention in the Musicalia interpretation contest.

They frequently collaborate as models for Cuban clothing and accessories brands such as Katy Ocaña Design, Nena Chula Accesorios, Duthil Rivera Bolsos and Freskita.

Chabuka Amiranashvili - We’ll be Back /ისევ დავბრუნდებით
'We'll Back Again' is a track from the album ‘Le Murmure De Duduk’ by the prolific Georgian musician and producer Chabuka Amiranashvili. His works express an immense richness of styles and moods, from piano ballads to majestic pathos, and intriguing vocal parts to ethno-percussions. It is difficult to file his music under a specific genre, it rather evokes plenty of diverse sceneries, like a sonic road trip. The richness of tones and sounds especially influences the album ‘Le Murmure De Duduk’ and makes it feel like an imaginary soundtrack for a non-existent movie.

"The duduk is one of my favorite instruments. It has a very sensitive sound and unique timbre that gives the illusion as if it runs through your veins and finally passes through the heart. Indeed, while listening to or creating music with the duduk’s phrases and vibrations, I have the feeling that this music follows the flow of my own blood. The duduk is an instrument with quite a small range, plus very gentle that makes it very difficult to perform on it. The duduk’s specific sound is not designed for all kinds of music; thus, it should be applied very carefully and wisely not to ruin its mystic. This album encircles the tracks that I have created especially with the duduk in mind, and I hope it can transmit to the audience the beats of this legendary instrument” - says the composer about his album.

In the video there is presented special winter footage from Svaneti, a historic province in the north western part of Georgia. Running along the Greater Caucasus range, it is one of the most unique and characteristic regions of Georgia with peculiar cultural heritage, folklore, lifestyle and absolutely breath-taking nature. Being the highest inhabited area in the Caucasus it is an exceptional example of mountain scenery with medieval-type villages and historical tower-houses. Those towers had become iconic symbol of Svanetian culture, and their construction system remains an unknown phenomenon and is surrounded by numerous myths and legends till today. Svaneti is encircled by 3,000–5,000-meter peaks, and four of the 10 highest peaks of the Caucasus are located in the region. Iconic Mountains Shkhara (5,201 m) Tetnuldi (4,974 m) and Ushba (4,710 m), standing as inaccessible guardians of the province, played a key role in developing exclusive living culture that till today preserved its unique touch.
