We express our love and admiration, joy and sadness and endless admiration for the work of one of the greatest musicians who left us today, Quincy Jones! We remember, love and continue to listen to your immortal legacy!

9️⃣1️⃣. This life that I’ve been blessed to live is not one that I take for granted. As a little black boy growing up in the South Side of Chicago, making it to 91 wasn’t even a dream because it never seemed possible. But as I stand before you today, I am grateful for every person who lent me a shoulder to stand on…From Count Basie to Nadia Boulanger to Joseph Powe to all of the individuals who told me I was worth another day.
To all-a-y’awl out there, never underestimate the positive impact that you can have on a kid’s life because it may just be the difference between them making it to 19 or 91. Thank you all for the beautiful birthday wishes & I pray that I can continue to pass down what the great’s have given to me!! Keep on keepin’ on…U know I am!

On this day, 28th September 1991, the world of jazz lost one of its most talented and revolutionary artists — Miles Davis. His genius reshaped jazz and music at large, constantly pushing the boundaries of sound and creativity. From bebop to cool jazz, from fusion to modal jazz, Miles always found new avenues to explore, setting trends that influenced generations of musicians.

Our label proudly released several compilations showcasing the brilliance of this legend. Today, we remember not only the man but the timeless artistry he left behind. Rest in power, Miles Davis. Your music lives on. 🎶 🎺
Miles' art lives and evolves, and now please appreciate this modern version of his immortal theme So What? from his platinum Album Kind of Blue, performed and remade by Miroslav Pyatnikov.

Lo Material -Quadrigales Vocal Quartet.
Four young Cuban women, heiresses of such a varied historical musical legacy, directly influenced by the Cuban Vocal Quartet “Sexto Sentido”, who has guided them since their formation, they have been trained in Cuba's art academies, under the tutelage of important Cuban masters.

The concern for putting into practice the knowledge of harmony, lead them to seek new sounds and colors in the arrangements they perform, for a result that integrates modernity and tradition. Quadrigales seeks the reinterpretation of a characteristic style of the middle of the last century, adding a certain touch of contemporaneity.

The repertoire they defend ranges from the most traditional Cuban to the singers' own compositions, but the distinctive touch is found in the work of the a ca****la ensemble, although we can also enjoy works with instrumental accompaniment. Quadrigales has been a finalist in the "Primera Base" contest of the Havana World Music Festival in the 2020 edition. In June 2021, the University of the Arts, ISA, awarded them a special mention in the Musicalia interpretation contest.

They frequently collaborate as models for Cuban clothing and accessories brands such as Katy Ocaña Design, Nena Chula Accesorios, Duthil Rivera Bolsos and Freskita.
