Why did i start a record company? Because i was tired of hearing no for an answer. tired of people tell me that my music doesnt fit into convenient genres that were invented to target audiences for the purposes of advertising. I will create my own genre and market the MUSIC to people who like music for music’s sake. I reject the idea that music is just a vehicle to market other products and has no

value in and of itself. Thats where we are today in America- Clear Channel bought the radio stations and invented musical categories in order to sell advertising space, delivering targeted demographics to advertisers through these new “Genres”. Then they bought all the Music Venues, turning them into captive audiences-not for the music-but for the advertisers who would target these audiences while at the performance. Thats why theres only 5 songs on the radio, all across the country. Its Totalitarian in nature, and if you don’t fit into this paradigm, you will always get a “no”. I reject that. I will create my own company that exists totally outside of that, establishing my own brand that exists for the sake of humanity and music. Heartcore Records will be a beacon of light in a desolated landscape, going directly to the people, making and yes- selling music- to people who love music, for musics sake. Bless,
