In recent years, Luis León & Unseener have cultivated an unconforming techno sound, seamlessly weaving deep textural worlds with intriguing twists and tense elements. Their latest release, the "And Then We Were Surrounded" EP, serves as a testament to their craftsmanship. “And Then We Were Surrounded” is a experimental EP in the techno spheres, that plays with various breakbeat rhythms, lush textures and deep synth modulations, that explore new grounds often being brave enough to leave the dancefloor focus behind. We are incredibly happy to have the wonderful Luis León, while also welcoming his talented buddy Unseener. It’s a joy, to have this explorative release with NWS and we hope some of you can appreciate this sound.

After one long year, we return to the musical landscape and welcome back Varaz with his wonderful MTHCLS release. Our next physical release in marbled white gloss comes with 5 musical adventures, including the dream inspiring "Cloud9".

It's been a long time coming due to all of us here at Nie Wieder Schlafen becoming parents of beautiful little children. With C-19, the war and our responsibility changes came a forced break, that we hope to break with this tremendous work by our good friend Steven. Thank you for you patience and your trust.

remains to be one of the most versatile producers in the deep house / electronica space. The time and passion he puts into his mixtapes, his music and his character as a human-being is enviable.

He returns to NWS and re-imagines ‘s fast pace „It Won‘t Be Long“ with his „King of“ remixes. With perceived ease, he puts the break on the originals difficult pacing and pushes it into the realms of electronica and ambience. His disassemblement of the original feels truly creative, but stays within a framework honoring the root material. The „King of Infinite Spaces“ version enters the realm of deep and retro-ish soundscapes, reminiscent of blade runner-esque delays - creating mystery and awe, while the “King of Shreds and Patches” ambience take, pushes a haunting piano progression, that moves in similar delayed spaces, but invokes a more hopeful outcome.

Joe’s approach to his remix (and now remixes) shows the passion and care he puts into his projects and it is once again and testament to the way his mind jumps into these projects. We are so happy to have you back, Joe. 🌿❤️

On Monday we have an exciting remix package incoming, that is filled with 3 special re-works for . The craft we’ve done with Luis on his EP was a special achievement and to now see these productions in a different light is always an emotional occasion. Special thanks goes out to .ya.tori for their quick participation with this project and the result, that has exactly been what we’ve hoped for. Same goes for and his passion for producing music - he went out of his way to produce two extremely wonderful pieces, that we will take a look at on a separate post.

.ya.tori is this incredible producer duo from Berlin, who make some fantastic techno music with emotional substance. Their usual sound doesn’t just try to deliver heavy dark vibes for the dancefloor, but delivers emotive and texture driven experiences. Especially their own .oto label tries to showcase a distinct, culturally influenced underground sound that goes deeper than most music in that specific direction. They are the perfect fit for our forthcoming remix package for ’s “My Ears Have Tears” debut EP on our imprint. We can wait for you to listen to the full, eclectic revision of these talented peeps.

This splash of colours was a random mixture of textures, that somehow ended up as a nice depiction of what we understood as “Dream Escape”. Drifting off and letting go, simply get ting lost in the audio-visual landscape.

Luis and Haider have been the new additions to the family in the last year, both of which have been exploring the sound of NWS with us together and therefore will see a series of releases in the future. Real Talk with "Real Eyes" by Broj. The deepest tune of the release gets featured and premiered by Madorasindahouse. Thank you guys for the upload xx. Real Eyes goes into deeper levels, while holding on to Broj's emotive melodies, that are now dunked in beafier, yet still crispy percussion rolls and some sharp arps, that glide through the main drop and make this one a possible dancefloor warmer.
