Are you being manipulated online?

YOUR DATA MIRROR makes the connections between online behaviour and political opinion-forming visible and tangible, playfully and without pointing fingers.

During the following days, we will share elements of a project made in collaboration with and a group of super-talented people.

This project aims to help everyone, especially people who vote for the first time, understand the dangers of digital political propaganda.
The project has two different elements: An Interactive Video experience built with the assistance of the algorithms of the Cambridge Psychometrics Centre and an informative website.

Never before have there been such sophisticated technical possibilities to specifically influence the opinion of users, especially in social media. Even young people, whose primary news source is the internet, are exposed to fake news, data theft and opinion manipulation. The basis for this is carelessly disclosed data.

Honoring Mies’ work with unique collages, made with love and poetry by Dr Lazcano.

Combined with the respectful work by David Chipperfield Architects who have renovated the building, whilst at the same time praising Mies’ architecture, the new collages emulate the very well-known renders by Mies, mixing line drawings and images, but with a contemporary twist!

Last week visit to the to the LWL-Römermuseum in Haltern am See. It is a fascinating, beautiful and charming museum, where you can get inside the skin of one of those ancient Roman soldiers. We will be exploring how can digital tools enhance the visitor experience during the coming years. Super exciting!

Exciting project update! As a collaboration with the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), we have been busy designing a virtual reality environment that will let people who experienced an amputation reduce their phantom limb pain and train the muscles they need to control a robotic prosthesis.
