“Music and art are deeply intertwined, particularly in the modular and live performance music scene. I hope to explore this relationship further, and to showcase the ways in which artists are pushing the boundaries of both mediums to create truly innovative and immersive experiences.
As I continue to meet and learn from more and more musicians, I am constantly impressed by the breadth and depth of their creative talents.
Many of these artists not only create incredible music, but also excel in other artistic mediums such as visual art, film, and writing. I believe that it's important to highlight these other creative pursuits alongside their music, as they often provide valuable context and insight into the artist's overall vision and artistic identity.
There is something special about the tangible experience of flipping through the pages of this magazine, discovering new artists, and collecting the artworks that are featured here.
In a world where so much of our media consumption is fleeting and disposable, I hope that MMM can provide a more lasting and meaningful connection to the music that we love.”
